Introduction to And She Did | Cochlear Implant Journey

Bringing Awareness about Cochlear Implant. My purpose is to start this "And She Did" Channel to let people with Cochlear Implant (CI) know they are not alone in this journey and also to share my experience, my journey, and my past to give hearing people a better understanding what having a Cochlear Implant is like. Taylor, you made me cry when I watched your first video. :'( I never write to anyone on youtube before and this is my very first message. I was born deaf and wear BTE(Behind the Ear) hearing aids all of my life. I can speak well and never use sign language because I want to be like the other hearing people. I am just exactly like you and I understand how you feel, it's hurtful and depression. I always keep thinking why I am deaf and cannot find the answers.I am so happy that you did this video to share your experiences and would like to see more.
