Absolutely fascinating content. As a modern Ford truck owner, I so enjoy seeing these forerunners of my beloved F-350. I look forward to your future episodes.
Actually, it's amazing how great a design the A was and still is.I can only assume that in today's world, there's not one vehicle produced that can last the way our beloved A 's have.Get out there and run your A's and enjoy the response from all the folks. THX KEN BE SAFE AND ENJOY!
Hi Ken , great video! Thanks for the AA technical info! My friend told me of a 1930 Express,131" w.b. in a barn free for the taking, back in 1985. I stored it a few years, but had to sell it. The 195-A, one of my all time favorite trucks!! The stars aligned and I found a 29' Phaeton! Another all time favorite? Thanks for your videos!!
Can you do a video on the forgotten Model B and BB trucks? I have a 1934 157 inch wheelbase BB truck that came from Great Falls MT. It was used until 1963 when the engine broke. It was left sitting in the field until 4 years ago. Replaced the engine with a similar flathead V8. It now runs and drives again with most of the original parts still on it including the brakes.
Mint brotjer my dad would have loved this he started driving at 12 in worcester ma. He drove trucks just like yours boy the stories. Im likein your site thank you.
Good day from Ontario. Boy interesting video on ford trucks. Odd putting extra low gear for little motor. Getting up to speed , but then holding it there. Thanks
Ken, I received you thanks and announcement, of the reach of the 1000 figure! Well, you deserve it as you have worked and brought us ROP notch presentations and we here on the island of curaçao, we my wife and I each presentation is a good one, man you did and are doing your best! Congratulations and we will go for more ok? Hope sincerely to meet you one day as I like to go a car show of MAFCA which I am member of. A big hung from us all and we depend on you for more UA-cam footages. Sincerely, The Jacobs
Low (granny) gear in an AA is a lower ratio not a higher ratio plus there is an add-on under drive - direct drive unit that was available to create a low range or all speeds in the main trans. I had two of them before selling one to a guy in Utah.
Hi Rick. I believe he is subscribed to my channel based on previous comments he has made so I would presume that if he wants something, he would reach out. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for sharing and for watching!
I love the big panel trucks but it seems every one has disappeared. I never seen one in real life nor in any youtube.
I never have seen one either. Perhaps they are in museums but all I ever see are flat bed or stake beds. Thanks for watching!
2:31 only slightly over loaded, 😮.
7:56 looks like a starting shaft for the air plane engine, interesting .
