The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition is a compilation for the Gamecube released in 2003. It contains The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask as well as some extras including a demo for The Wind Waker.

I remember getting a gamecube w/this game & 2 others in xmas 2003. The others were luigi's mansion & smash melee. I mainly played melee since i like fighting games,i usually got stuck in the first zelda dungeons,& at the time i thought luigi's mansion was too scary
I still remember having a burned copy and playing this collection with my younger brother together on our modded Gamecube, when we were still kids.
What a great experience it was, and hell did we played the Wind Waker Demo alot.
I still like to mess around in it with super swim, seeing how far I can get and what parts of the game are included in the collection.
Finally got a original sealed copy a few days ago.
Definetifly a very special Zelda Collection for me, beside downsides like missing A Link to the Past or the Gameboy Color games.

Great review man! This collection has been a big part of my childhood and the main reason why I fell in love with the zelda franchise.
Well, I wish it was a ultimate collection. It was missing ALttP, LADX, OoS and OoA. Though Four Swords, I’m not so sure how they would port it in Collector’s Edition, but they did it as part of the DSiWare.
I personally find aiming in first person to be a nightmare in the gamecube versions of OOT and MM. The sensitivity is crazy when you're trying to shoot the bow

I appreciate the thoroughness of the Windwaker Demo section of this video.
Probably gonna pick it up. I've got nostalgia for oot and mm from the Wii vc and while I have the 3ds versions I want a physical version of both the originals. I've also never played zelda 1 or 2.

All the issues you mentioned with majoras mask I had with ocarina of time when playing with the rumble on. It’s unplayable if you use the rumble

Just ordered this after getting pretty far through ocarina of time on n64 and the whole game file going corrupt. I am new to zelda games I guess you could say and wanted to play the others anyways.
Are you having any emulation issues with it? I’d also like to get this collection since I sold my n64 a long time ago but all I hear is that OoT and specifically MM don’t run well.
@@williamdancer5649 emulation? i mean i'm playing this game on original gamecube hardware. but OoT plays absolutely great and havent had any problems at all with it. Haven't started the others yet, got caught up with other new games
@@williamdancer5649 yeah, I originally beat Ocarina on gc. It worked great for me, no issues at all.

I know it's 3 years later but my experience with mm was horrid. Constant crashing resulting in loss progress, audio syncing issues, textures loading incorrectly. Overall probably the worst way to experience the game. But I heard some people got lucky and had no issues so who knows.@@williamdancer5649
