NOTE: This is an automated updating weather loop for Southeast Texas.
At this point, barring a shift further north up the coast, 2-4 inches is forecast locally with isolated higher amounts certainly possible. Breezy southeast winds may gust to between 25 and 30 mph.
Tuesday, the storm is forecast to move into Northeast Texas with dry air wrapping around the western flank into SE Texas. So, rain chances will quickly decrease as the storm moves out of the state late Tuesday.
Wednesday through Friday of next week looks seasonal with a 20-30% coverage of showers and thunderstorms as high pressure rebuilds into our area from the east. Afternoon highs will inch upwards into the lower and middle 90s.
