Tree Canada & sməlqmix Partnership

National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated on June 21st. Tree Canada works on the sacred, ancestral, and traditional territories of many diverse and distinct Indigenous Peoples and Nations and is deeply honoured to partner with many of these communities. By integrating Indigenous traditional knowledge with Western science, we aim to support resilience and growth within local communities, develop more sophisticated reforestation approaches and increase the success rate of our initiatives.
