I posted an older video a few months ago of this project and in the description of that video I said, "this is the completed version." but I just could not leave the project like it was.
A link to the older video can be found here:
• (Older version) The sh...
I have made massive improvements to the project, including the following:
Fixed light year being a whole order of magnitude smaller than it actually was.
added many layers of images to simulate depth to the scene.
At the atomic scale, the element that is zoomed in on has be swapped for hydrogen.
Vastly more realistic visuals at the atomic scale. (Then before)
Redrew the majority of images from 10^-7 to 10^8.
Higher resolution Milkyway.
Added a fertilizer bag sitting next to the tree.
Added a guy reading a book sitting next to the dirt path.
Added a few more dwarf planet orbits.
And many more improvements!
This whole project was originally a spinoff of my videogame size comparison where I made something similar with images slowly drifting to the bottom left instead of the middle.
This was heavily inspired by a show I used to watch when I was a little kid
Called "Powers of Ten 1977". I was never old enough to see it originally air on television but that doesn't mean that I don't find this show nostalgic, especially after rediscovering it after so long.
I like the background music, but your videos are improving! Really great video. Rock on man Rock on
My favorite is Stairway! Because of the C major key, I could imagine the music playing when I'm on a stairway to Heaven!

FInally got it done nice!

Is this place taken to the future? I see the sea level rise
Yes, this is indeed taken in the future. I'm surprised no one noticed that sooner.
If this was taken in the future, then how were the particles smaller than quarks still unknown?

I just currently made sneek peek 1 of TSSOTUΩT (The Sheer Scale of the Universe Absolute Infinity Times)
Incredible, must have been a lot of work.
looks good
Wow epic
Cool!
Remake of powers of ten™?
how is time slowing down when the perspective gets smaller?
It's artificially slowed down so that extremely fast interactions at microscopic scales (excluding the atomic scale and lower) could be visualized as a still picture and still be accurate with the clock.
At macroscopic scales, the speeding up of the clock is caused by relativistic effects. But the microscopic scales are just to show that time isn't paused so I could visualize the atomic scale with actual animations, and all the details could still be (mostly) consistent with each other. Except of course, for the fact that time doesn't just magically slow down the small you get.
Also, if hundreds of billions of years happened, how come the sun and the planets are intact and the Milky Way didn't collide with the Andromeda galaxy?
Time was "reset" when the perspective started zooming in. It simplified the making of this video a lot, so I didn't have to draw additional images of the far future.
that's epic
This is like the 1977 Powers of Ten by Charles and Ray Eames but remade and with more orders of magnitude!
Could you someday narrate the video and add more words to the narration since there are 63 orders of magnitude?
I was already working on that. but it's going to take a while to construct a script for me to read that both, sounds good, and is not a direct copy of the Powers of Ten script.
