Thanks for taking the time to film and edit this, was really interesting to see how you approach a task like this and made a welcome change to the endless video calls for me at the moment :)
I don't like heights. As you worked higher and higher I found myself clutching my tablet tighter and tighter. I think my fingerprints are permanently embedded in my Samsung. Great job, my friend!
Woah! I have a kind of opposite thing with heights where they don't freak me out ... so I have to remind myself how dangerous it is. I always follow the rule that even 6' off the ground is high enough to do serious damage. Anyway, thanks for clutching and checking it out! :)
.I am terrified of heights and yet somehow I keep watching your videos holding my breath. Have to keep reminding myself that you will be OK or we wouldn't be watching this.
Thought I’d say hi al the way from the UK. Wondering if you would be interested in presenting a video on how you go about pricing jobs. Specifically tree jobs. I am interested to know as you work alone and you deal with a wide variety of different trees. I see sometimes that you return another day to complete the job. Do you price per day or for the whole job? Keep up the good work. I enjoy all of your videos. Stay safe and healthy.
Hey Bryan! One of my sisters lives over there ... great place! If you send me your email address I can send you my pricing sheet (a sort of tool I use to come to a price). But yeah, I always go out and do a bid, then determine a price and often send them a quote all written up. It's kind of a long process but seems to work out. I'll have to make that video you mention as it's a big part of the job and one I'm not as good at as I should be. I could say sooooo much more about it, but I always do it by the job. Thanks buddy!
@@metaspencer Hi Spencer. A copy of your pricing sheet will be appreciated. It might be something I can adapt to pricing here. I would absolutely love to go out there and work alone but unfortunately here in the UK we have “lone working legislation” which prevents me from doing so, especially working at heights and with chainsaws. So where in the UK is your sister. I live on a farm in a remote part of Shropshire which is near the Welsh border and I avoid the heavily populated areas if I can help it. Hope you and all of your family are well during these tough times. Keep up the great work and videos. My email address is “ bsw2061@gmail.com “ look forward to viewing your pricing method. Be safe.
@@bryanwilliams9456 Hey man, I sent the info via email ... wow, that "lone working legislation" makes sense, I guess, but wouldn't fly over here. Sis is in Scotland and likes the hiking. Take care!
The tree where you rig onto at 8:07, that "Honeysuckle" looks more like an Elderberry! It's got that typical bark and the spot in the center of every cut. Just asking...
We do have a lot of elderberry trees around here, so there's a good chance. I'm certainly not the master of tree identification but given how that one was growing my money is still on honeysuckle :)
@@metaspencer I was just worried, because cutting down an Elderberry is considered dangerous! The Elder Mother will be released from out of the tree and take her revenge on the one cutting it down... ;-)

Top job!
the arborist videos are really good, we sat and binge watched three or four!

Thanks! Good times

Yikes! Must be scarier on the video than in person
The man who speaks to himself perched in a tree 😲😁
haha ... gotta sound crazy to folks in their yards or whatever :)
Very nice and as always you make it look easier than it is. I like the hand saw on trees like that as it makes for a peaceful morning. 👍🏻👍🏻
Big thanks! Yeah, I'll take a hand saw over a power saw any day: much more versatile
Wow . . . . . great work! . . . . Rog
Thanks man. Always nice hearing from ya
Nice work
Thanks buddy
Another great video Spencer!!!
More sunlight now for the garden at that house, so they're happy
Wonderful perspective!
Thanks
Excellent top !
Great as usual.
Stay safe
That was a snarly mess of trees for sure :) thanks man
I've learned a lot from your " not a how to videos"!
Haha … excellent!!
Excellent job
Thanks for checking it out! It was a fun one to puzzle out
Good job keep getting in Tjte places
Thanks man!
Good work 👨🔧
Thanks 👍
This is the most terrifying video you have ever made. I hate honeysuckles and I’m glad you killed it. I pull up dozens of those every year
You are the honeysuckle warrior! And there I was this spring transplanting some :)
metaspencer eh, they have their uses, just not for us. These videos are incredibly terrifying and fascinating.
How have I not seen this video lol I thought I’ve seen all your tree videos
That was a funky job ... some of the trees, as I recall, were turning to powder in my hands :) You know how it is
Skills!
haha ... good times up there!

Good Job ... hey, what were they growing in that "thing" that was wrapped with chicken wire?
It's just a veggie cage ... the squirrels in town are organized into a kind of mafia :)

@@metaspencerI had no idea that Honeysuckle got that big.I thought they just stayed bush sized.
Nice job! Ya know I could say a thing or two but I wont be 'that guy' hahaha I did enjoy the vid and limited drop zones suck! Lol
Oh yeah, not perfect by any means ... anyway, thanks for checking it out and always good to hear from ya
240 am I’m in bed holding my breath like I’m in the tree.
Wild!
What were the two trees? The tall one a hackberry? The rotten one a long dead apple?
I’m only half remembering … honeysuckle, hackberry, and the dead one I dunno
If life were a video game:
Level _Lumberjack_ : Unlocked!
"You are now clear to skip and jump, and also press wild flowers..."
Ding! Oh yeah!
haha :)
@@metaspencer ua-cam.com/video/pfRdur8GLBM/v-deo.html For those that didn't get it...!
👍👍👍👌♥️
All these trees you’ve been cutting lately, u should have a nice stack of firewood for next season.
Oh boy don't know know it! It's turned into a nice pice so far :)
Flop the top take the ride
haha ... yup!
Do you ever say to yourself, how did they let it get this far?
haha ... every, single, day
Dude - you’re messed up-just sayin
Gotta get up there and cut! :)
