The premier group in the bluegrass business, with Chris playing along, who could ask for more? You can tell that Del is really proud of his sons, and his grandson. He has every right to be, they are something. I think that Bill Monroe himself would admire this band.
Not exactly a warm up tune is it? He put that Loar through its paces just to make sure it still works. That’s some sick mando playing but what else would you expect? If you put thiles foot to the fire this is his top two genre of music. Why not he learned it first. The GOAT

Why can't the always annoying Chris Thile ever just let his guests play without joining them? I'm surprised he didn't try to sing, too! I din't think it was possible, but he's even more annoying to watch.
bruce h sounds like someone doesn’t understand musicianship. Thile is the greatest musician on that stage but he doesn’t hog the limelight. True respect right there.

I loved that. With the pre-show music and the jam session, the live show is a good 30 minutes longer than the broadcast.

AndyPanda9 cheat a keys. They are a form of D-tuners ( allow quick change tuning)
