There were these 2 nostalgic MS-DOS games from my childhood. One was something like kosmos where you control an alien and was a platformer like super mario bros. The second one I can't remember the title is another platformer where there were these two mafioso characters. One was tall and thin, the other wide and short. I don't remember much about it but you could collect vinly records on the stage.
@@geekygorevanAhh that makes sense. I was going to say, if your Geforce 4090 and Core I9 13900K was chugging like that, that would just be unacceptable. :P
Reminds me of playing this on my old 486 SX/50 back in the days. I kind of enjoyed that bullet time effect. Was especially fun when I was tired and drunk.
Spellbound Math Munchers Math Blasters and all pc series of Super Solver games Mario is missing Mario time machine all Commander Keen series pc games love them all and i am still playing them to the fullest nonstop
I used to have a computer from 1993 that played some old games on it, I came home from school in 2001when I was 12 to find my dad had thrown it away! I went berserk!!!! In nearly 23 year of searching I haven't found a replacement for it.
@@geekygorevan I always enjoyed the game, but I think that I only ever got to the part with the guards a few times, most of the time, I just kept dying with those stupid leeches lol.
Its gonna sound really weird but hear me out, i remember when i was a little girl that i used to play a game with what i believe was some kind of bunny/rabbit, and in the first level it was in some sort of forest that had some little black pigs(?) and after a while you had to sort of fell onto this hole that took you to a cave. Then i remember in the second level there was this sort of pyramid made of concrete and it also had that little pig running around so you had to eliminate it. I dont remember anything else, does it ring any bells?
Hugo isn't on the list. You know, the games with the troll that tries to save his wife and kids from an evil witch and makes funny comments when he falls for the different booby traps such as boulders or fox traps.
in the future QA will be the most important job, because AI will be able to do everything .. but someone will have to check .. because AI does not have a soul
Jazz jackrabbit was fun, sky roads, Prince of Persia, Jill of the jungle were sinfully forgotten.
Tyrian, jazz jackrabbit, crystal caves, and cosmo adventures were some of my favorite ones.
I remember playing Duke Nukem, Hugo's House of Horrors, and Jurassic Park. I dont remember any the rest.
Commander Keen, Indiana Jones and the fate of atlantis
Best part of Alone in the Dark is 'if it moves, hit the crap out of it.'
😂😂😂
Forgot Rocky's Boots, Jones In The Fast Lane
Those devs were super creative with the ancient hardware they had back than...amazing.

Dont the 1st one, but the latter sounds like Blues Brothers the game.
The first one is Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure
Dang your computer is chugging on Duke 3d.
Yeah, it was a browser version and it was not playing ball! 😭

That sucks 😞 I wish I still had my old computer. All the nostalgia would come flooding back!!!
@@geekygorevan I was really upset and angry when he did it, he's never apologised. He just threw it away like he's done with other awesome things too.

@@geekygorevanMy dad has more value for my mum's boring old Bible collection then my classic consoles and games.
I was never able to get far at all in Out of this World whenever I played it.
It's a really hard game! I only managed to complete it for the first time a few years ago. Was frustrating to say the least 😂
@@geekygorevan I always enjoyed the game, but I think that I only ever got to the part with the guards a few times, most of the time, I just kept dying with those stupid leeches lol.
I rented it for a weekend and hated it. I can't stand trial and error gameplay.
Flashback was so much better.

Not ringing a bell at the moment, but I'll have a think! I've had a couple of games that I can't find and winds me up 😂
Jazz Jackrabbit?
good old dos games i over 130 dos games
Elvira: Mistress of the Dark isn't mentioned, it was also a cool game for MS DOS.
Wait, no DESCENT, no DESCENT 2?
Decent was a milestone in gaming! I'll need to 100% include it in my next DOS video. Good shout!

Hello.
We'll
i'm glad I grew up playing consoles
😂
Nox is not a DOS game, it runs on Windows.
You're completely right 🙈 I must have misremembered. Good spot!
