Becky Stern is the best thing ever
I so so so love products, support and education of wearables. I like that it attracts young people and girls in particular. Also, in the maker universe it brings out a diverse crowd.
Absolutely brilliant
That necklace though. Want!
My first though on seeing this product concept: This would be an incredible spy tool... Jason Bourne style :D
So simple that it has to be missed genius, but after thinking about this for a moment I came to think of many other ways. Simply having sewn in terminals to various clothing you could make a push switch from a bag lid, or make a true set of clapper gloves. Too many options to begin trying to list.
from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver "electronic products use silver for its superior conductivity, even when tarnished. The primary example of this is in high quality RF connectors. The increase in conductivity is also taken advantage of in RF engineering ..."
Can I bridge from one side of the jacket to the other like this too?
Cool!
The real practical use for that would be as a alarm on a backpack zipper because clothes we all wash them too often
LiPe VoLcOm You can wash wearable electronics. We even made a video about how!
now that is an open fly alarm system
