My two all time favorite Pearl Jam songs come from this album: Faithful and No Way.
Yield and No Code are my two favorite Pearl Jam albums. Regarding No Code. I always appreciate when a band deviates from what made them popular. I tend to like experimental albums. I always think of Pearl Jam as the Gen X Led Zeppelin. They came out strong with a hard rock sound that immediately made them hugely popular and wealthy. Once they achieved that level of success they could afford to try different styles of music and make albums that are probably more meaningful to them rather than writing for the mainstream audience. I equate No Code to Led Zeppelin III. I can only imagine the shock of flipping that album over on first listen in 1970.

I love those two songs as well. I totally agree with what you said about them being similar to Zeppelin. I've said something like that for a while now and people usually think I'm crazy. So I'm glad to find out someone else shares that view lol. Totally agree with your thought about No Code as well. Thanks for watching and the great comment.
