- This was the first single released from "Analogue" in the United Kingdom. The song was originally entitled "Minor Key Sonata" and the demo was included on the single released in Europe.
This is the second video made from the album "Analogue", and both videos are recorded in black and white.
Howard Greenhalgh has done over 200 music videos including Soundgarden: Black Hole Sun, Sting: If I Ever Lose My Faith in You, Pet Shop Boys: Go West, Puff Daddy: Come with Me, George Michael: Jesus to a Child and Counting Crows: Daylight Fading to name but a few.

this was a choice from the band. They have been said that they should have moved to the US to have success there and they opted not to do it.

I remember listening to the Analogue album while I lay on a bed after a day’s snowboarding in Switzerland during the winter of 2005. My wife had recently left me for a new life and friends showed themselves to be non-committal and eventually non-existent. This album became my drug that winter.

I can not get enough of these guys. Overall a-ha's best album and also their most unusual. It's a shame they're only known here in America for their 80's hits, but this country collectively gravitates towards icons; not artists. Clearly a-ha's greatest works came later in their career.

Growing up this was my favorite band. I was raised by a devout aha fan, my first music video vhs was headlines and deadlines. I have seven younger siblings now who request this every time I visit (and when I used to babysit them during my time at home) I’m the only 20 year old at work who knows this band and only one other person at work knows their catalogue besides Take on Me. America. Needs. An. Education. On. Aha. XD

@@JesperHellvik sorry yes that's right, we were there at the time 😎 but globally, they never quite cracked the American market as much as they deserved. Pål wanted to base the band there for a while but the others weren't keen. But they did discover a massive audience in South America. Fingers crossed A-ha continue their tour next year, some folks in USA and South America have been waiting 35 years to see them!

When I was very young I love Morten and their songs. Morten hadn’t changed much and Now I love them again cuz they are great!
I commented a few months ago about how good this song & band are ,then saw a concert recorded by the bbc back in 2016 ,great concert but gutted they didn’t do this , still can’t hide the fact just how good these guys are 👍👍👍
Hidden away in an attic somewhere, there are Dorian Gray type paintings of these blokes... only way to explain how they don't seem to age! Still love this band 30 years on, despite being a Blur/Sonic Youth/Kasabian/Blink182 kind-of-guy. Just shows that good music and good bands don't age, they mature :) Keep it up!

I'm so thankful for Googles Music Recognition. I just remembered the melody because it is so beautiful. Then I hummed it and Google brought me here. I freaked out when I saw it was a-ha - they're one of my favorite bands.
