I was at the edge in Orlando in 1993 listening to this song for the first time and man, Has this song stuck with me & continues for the rest of my life and has been a complete game changer. Hardkiss brothers were so underrated. This songs been jamming for the last 37 years and will continue for many after that mad props.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Kimball Collins used to always drop this track as well man those were the good old days
Edge parties had no equal back then. One of the first ones I went to was Energy 2. Dust Brothers live if I am not mistaken...but yea Hardkiss, RITM, Superstition, Rainbow Bridge, D-Extreme (RIP), Scott Riley...too many good times, DJs, and tracks....
From back in the days when DJ's weren't afraid to put guitar samples in techno...and even toss in a little whistle for good measure. Man this takes me back about 20 years to the best times of my life!
Definitely my track of the current year. I’m 22 so only finding out now about this track. It was actually sampled in a vinyl that I have which is Soft keys - Bubbles, and searching for the samples I came across this one. Don’t regret it one bit
ran into scott way back in da begining of the dj blowup in San Fran, hanging with Dj EFX,Dj Digit and the kid soon to be known as Sigle Cell Orchectra as well as many other talent at the DNA Lounge around 92',but when I heard this track I was blown away! RIP..
Hell Yes... fu(k 🤯 This was on a mega Ronson tape from way back in the day... how mad the mind still makes the connections after so many ups and downs... 🫠
thank you for uploading this...so odd, i was reminded of this tune about 1 1/2 months ago, found vinyl on ebay, it just arrived last week, now this... peace out scott hardkiss much love thanks for spreading the love
this is EPIC!!! its piss my neighbours off time ! i used to mix this with a track from a compilation LP from a fantasia triple vinyl I will post as soon as I find it .
I got one of the first pressing of this double pack white label. the one that came out later the ELO sample had to be altered cause of copy-right infringment B.S.. This is the pressing to have very rare.
The rare pressing I couldn't find for 20 years - finally did track it down. Playing the official release was fine but I was jealous of the handful of DJs I knew with the promo of the original :)
That's the "Someday My Plane Will Crash" mix you are thinking of ;) This is my favourite mix though, but the Rabbit In The Moon RiverAndRain mix is a bloody good set opener :)
This was, is, one of the all-time greats - sadly Jeff Lynne would not allow the sample as he hated dance music. Funny really as he's recently been on TV in the UK bragging how ELO were one of the pioneers of electronic music - nothing to do with the release of ELO's greatest hits hey Jeff?
No, this one here on youtube isn't even my most recent rip. As equipment and my own knowledge has improved over the years these tracks have been ripped a good dozen times at this point.

White label and raw. And still is today! Even today i would class this experimental. And
From back in the days when DJ's weren't afraid to put guitar samples in techno...and even toss in a little whistle for good measure.

Doesn’t get ANY better than this and never will. Pure class.
Words cant explain where this tune took you.
Rest in Peace, Scott....you will be missed.

@@sweetheartivyivyherbert307 turbo sound systems were the gold standard for sound systems in the early days of rave and clubbing.
You moved many souls on earth, God Within indeed. RIP.

They originally pressed 100 copies of this version.
It just doesn't get any better than the feeling you get at 5:01, amirite?
It's a belter for sure, the whole change in tempo and register.
RIP scott hardkiss
The rare pressing I couldn't find for 20 years - finally did track it down. Playing the official release was fine but I was jealous of the handful of DJs I knew with the promo of the original :)

They were pioneering, it just took someone else to show them and even then, they didn't realize it. Nice that he came to realization 20 years later.
Resistance is futile. 😈
I have this one. Great track best mix in the set.
The Bollocks
Cmon these were the Pink Floyd of raves!
RIP...and with the banned redacted guitar sample too...
Is this the one ripped from my copy of the record? :)
No, this one here on youtube isn't even my most recent rip. As equipment and my own knowledge has improved over the years these tracks have been ripped a good dozen times at this point.
What are the lyrics at the start?
A bit late...
It's in italian:
"Salgono", "Scendono" on repeat.
Trad. "They go up", "They go down".
COBOL plenty soon thanks so much!
