My husband has become so much braver with names after we had our first. Our first is Myla, and we are welcoming another sweet girl in January. Little Maple
I love your videos and have watched them for all three pregnancies! Currently pregnant with our first boy and because of your videos, we were convinced to use our “brave name”. We can’t wait to welcome our little Caspian Valor!
My husband’s #1 name was Luna, and that’s what we named my oldest daughter. It definitely felt brave at the time. She is 7 now and I hadn’t heard of anyone naming their kids that. My dad actually tried to tell me not to use that name 🤣 little did he know it would be in the top 10 one day
I love hearing these! We have an Elliana and Celina. We’re expecting our third baby in March, but this time the gender will be a surprise, which will be fun, but it’s a little tough trying to solidify name choices, at least for me. My husband is set on the two names we picked from the very beginning, but I’m feeling indecisive, as I was the first two times! I’m excited to hear more about you potentially opening up a private consultation service and I’d love to know more about that ☺️
My favorite name for a girl is Odessa. I’m always hopeful it will show up on your list one day! I also love Rosalie for a girl and Rhodes for a boy. Can’t wait to see your boy list next week!!!
My husband is a brave namer. He named our daughter Quinn and he really liked Noa, Sloane, Delta, Piper and Marlowe. Some of them even a bit brave for me.
We are expecting our first and Annalise is the girl name we have chosen (don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet). This the first time I’ve seen it on a baby name list anywhere. Hoping it doesn’t suddenly blow up as soon as we use it! 🤫😂
@@SJ_Strum haha! I’ve been in love with it for over half my life now, super excited to finally maybe get to use it (Ian is the name we have if the baby is a boy 🥰).
I am so glad that our baby was a boy because my husband and I were never going to agree on a girl name. He loves long, "fancy" (his word) names like Gabriella, Tabitha, or Samantha. I was in love with short and sweet like Mae or Sloane with a braver middle spot.
I’ve got 3 year old twin nieces, Ivy and Maeve. My sister in law didn’t realise how popular the names were but she had to have heard them from somewhere!
My husband likes Sophia or Hazel haha! I liked Hazel but wanted something a bit different, we now have a Lilianna and a Rosalie! Shocked he agreed to these names haha! We also had Arabella on our list :) xxxxx
When we were naming our kids, my husband had different taste, definitely slightly more traditional and not as turned off by the trendiness of trendy choices. But we did find agreement. Our girls are Suvi Jane and Minna Laurel.
Harper is the name of my eldest little angel baby. Such a beautiful name. Thank you for bringing their name up. (my other angel baby is called Harlow. I miss my little ones so much.) 👼🏼👼🏼🕊️
My husband picked Baylon Reed from the list i had from your videos for our son. I think you had it spelled Bailen though as it comes from Old English names. I still cant find the original video to know what it means but everyone we come across loves it!!!!. ❤ Now trying to find baby #2s name. If it's a girl, he likes Delphinia Zora and Zoran or Axel for boys maybe. 😊
I did a little squeal when you read out the three names my husband (and I 😆) added to your list...Erin (our little girl's name!), Harriet and Connie....glad you like them too! 😍🩷 Think we'll go with Connie should we be lucky enough to have another baby and it's a girl! X
It is a beautiful name. It is Biblical and will be popular long after the Delta, Quinn, Nevaeh names are thankfully forgotten. This video was quite rude. Only ridiculous laughable names are "in" now it seems.
We have a Willow Romy! We love it so much as the nickname Will is so cool but you still have the beautiful long form. For number two we are planning on using Juliet for a girl or Cedric for a boy 💛
I came back to your channel :) I had to show my 3 year old daughter Maeva where I got her name inspiration from - It was between Maeva and Xanthe and she loves her name Maeva . grateful for your channel :) keep up the great work
17:18 As someone named Rebecca . . . I agree with you, lol. I love being called Rebecca, and identify with it since, y'know, I've had it my whole life, but it is a bit plain and not so modern now, so I prefer to go by my nickname Beeba amongst friends :) Edit: HA, my middle name's Katie too lmao
Wondering if the guys like Luna because so many people are naming their dogs Luna? I think it's one of the top names for dogs and cats. Lovely name, just wondering if that's how some men have come across that name, especially considering so many are stuck in the names from their own generation - Luna just seems like a wildcard. 😂
Love these so much! Our 1.5 year old is named Jane (picked out by by husband but I love it as well) and we’re having another little girl in January who is going to be Louisa (nn Luci). Names I’ve loved and he vetoed were Harriet, Flora, and Edith. Thanks for your videos, I’ve loved them through both pregnancies!
My husband is definitely an 80s namer, like Lauren etc…. So like you’re saying, people he sat next to at school 😄 Our daughter was almost Gabriella, as that was 80s but also I like it (think it’s pretty glam) before we decided on her name Zoë - 80s, but also timeless and v cool and sassy. Her middle name is Meadow ❤
Currently 7 weeks with our second. Our 1yr old is Björn Forrest. If it’s another boy, we just so happen to love Finn Jasper, and if it’s a girl we are between Evelina (again, this name was on my list since highschool 😂) and Soleil. It will be a summer baby, and Soleil currently has my heart, but Evelina Soleil would be a great first and middle name combo. I’m also a fan of Soleil Bloom. So hard to choose!
My husband and I have a boy name we have picked out for a future son that we agree on and love! But when we talked about girl names, I was shocked to hear him say he loved Charlie the most! He’s usually not into the gender neutral names I suggest (like Blake or Devin) but his favorite for girls is Charlie. 🥰
Out of these my husband only liked Freya. He said Skylar and Jasmine were ok. He didn't like Wren because it made him think of an old gross cartoon called Ren & Stimpy. Names we have discussed before that he liked were Oriana, Cecily and Aurora. He can't think of any off the top of his head. I have to give him a list.
16:40 Is Bea not just pronounced "Bee"? One of my favourite name combos I came up with for a potential future baby girl (even though I REALLY love it, it's sadly further down on my list than others) was Reilly Bea
I love Eleanor but my husband said absolutely not. We already have a 4 year old girl named Hazel. Took some convincing for that one. He said they will sound like “little old ladies” 😂😂
Ha, there was me thinking I was being original with my two daughters’ names Maeve Luna and Esme Willow and three are in the top 5 of this list! Though I did have a terrible time getting my husband to go with any of my tons of name ideas so this makes sense!
My boyfriend likes my name ideas for when we eventually have kids. We’re naming our future daughter Lilibelle Juliet. I think it’s so soft and elegant. We also like Fable Rose.
I misheard 'Oscar' as 'Ausper' (awe-spurr/Oss-per) and am now loving that as a name 😮 I can't find any info on if it's a legitimately used name. I did find 'Auspelund' which apparently means freedom-lover, playful, friendly. I suppose it could be a spin-off from that! What do you think about 'Ausper'? Not 'real' enough to be used? It could fit right in to the Austen, Jesper, Oscar, and Vesper crowd. My son's called 'Iver' (a variation of Ivar, but pronounced as it is spelled with the 'er' ending), and I think I may just love that ending sound in some names 😅
My partner also likes Tabitha. I like it but not sure if it sounds too posh for us 😂😂 we both like anything that you can get a cute, unusual nickname from
My husband vetoed every name I threw at him and finally we settled on Alice. It’s not too overused here in the U.S. but still classic and a family name. Also easy to spell & pronounce which was important to me.
My husband loves Luna and Lily. Both of us had Poppy as our favourite name when we met but I named my orphan lamb Poppy a couple of months into our relationship! He only told me once we were married that the reason he said to name her something else was that he was saving it for a baby 😭
I would love advice. we have an Aurora (Rory) and an Elodie with another girl on the way. Does anyone have some name suggestions. Im liking Pippa, Mirabelle and Bailey but would love more suggestions please?
Could you do baby names that are of German Origin? I'd like to honour my grandmother by using a name of her heritage. Both boy and girl - unsure of what i'm having yet :P Love watching your videos!

My husband has become so much braver with names after we had our first. Our first is Myla, and we are welcoming another sweet girl in January. Little Maple
I really like the name Myla :) Congratulations on your January baby when she arrives
Oh wow those are a beautiful pairing xxx
Maple 🍁 is so darn cute. We are brave namers ova here too, so I love to hear it.
Same here! We had war over naming our twins and landed on Ada and Tessa. Then HE chose Melody for our baby born last month ❤😅
That is the CUTEST name ever!!!
lol the moment where you say “I’ve just realized these top two are basically my daughters name combined” and me saying “blosselina!” 😂
I love your videos and have watched them for all three pregnancies! Currently pregnant with our first boy and because of your videos, we were convinced to use our “brave name”. We can’t wait to welcome our little Caspian Valor!
Wow what a gorgeous name!!! Yaaay! xx
Valor is ridiculously cool!
Love!
Absolutely glorious, both strong and romantic.Well done and congratulations to you both.
Such a gorgeous name 💙 congratulations
I would LOVE to see a Shakespearean inspired baby names list please! 🫶
I think Bea is pronounced Bee! It’s usually a nickname for Beatrix or Beatrice but is becoming a name on its own 😊
Ahhh I know a Be-ah for Beatrice as well xxx
I’m in America so maybe it’s different here! I’ve always loved Beatrix with the nicknames Bea (Bee) or Trixie!
I do think Bea is pronounced as Bee in America. I knew a Bianca that went by Bi and a Bertha that went by Bee.
I've only ever hear it pronounced Bee in the UK! Never be-ah?
But then there are people who pronounce Beatrix as Bee-ah-trix too
Currently 18 weeks pregnant with a baby girl!! We are naming her Esmia!!
My husband’s #1 name was Luna, and that’s what we named my oldest daughter. It definitely felt brave at the time. She is 7 now and I hadn’t heard of anyone naming their kids that. My dad actually tried to tell me not to use that name 🤣 little did he know it would be in the top 10 one day
My dad offered to pay me not to name my baby Melody last month 🙈 he was obsessed with calling her bonnie ❤
john legend has a daughter luna!
What a great friend you have to take part in that ad with you! ❤
I’m excited to hear more about you potentially opening up a private consultation service and I’d love to know more about that ☺️
Valentina or Evelina. They both have that a sound at the end
Aaliya or Aaliyah
My favorite name for a girl is Odessa. I’m always hopeful it will show up on your list one day! I also love Rosalie for a girl and Rhodes for a boy. Can’t wait to see your boy list next week!!!
I love all 3 of those! 😀
My husband is a brave namer. He named our daughter Quinn and he really liked Noa, Sloane, Delta, Piper and Marlowe. Some of them even a bit brave for me.
What 40 year old woman would want to be stuck with one of those names though? I mean really, Delta?
Wow and I thought this was a nice supportive community.
@@TurtleMyrtle12 Delta is beautiful. Don’t know what your problem is. No difference between that and Érica which is also a nice name
@@TurtleMyrtle12i agree haha some people forget theyre naming humans
The name quinn is beautiful, I look after a quinn 😍
I love: Sarina, Annalise, Daphne, Bronwyn, Penelope, Opal, Tabitha, Wren, Ivy, Athena, Violet, Maeve, Evelyn, Freya, Lucy, Eliana, Gemma/Jemma , Emmaline, and Luna
We are expecting our first and Annalise is the girl name we have chosen (don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet). This the first time I’ve seen it on a baby name list anywhere. Hoping it doesn’t suddenly blow up as soon as we use it! 🤫😂
Ah it's gorgeous - it's not super popular yet...I won't mention it again ;-)
I love that name!🌸🌺💞
I love Annalise! Sadly husband didn't. Congratulations and lucky little Annalise!
@@SJ_Strum haha! I’ve been in love with it for over half my life now, super excited to finally maybe get to use it (Ian is the name we have if the baby is a boy 🥰).
Annalise is so elegant and stylish.
I am so glad that our baby was a boy because my husband and I were never going to agree on a girl name. He loves long, "fancy" (his word) names like Gabriella, Tabitha, or Samantha. I was in love with short and sweet like Mae or Sloane with a braver middle spot.
Your husband likes feminine names for girls. That makes sense.
I’ve got 3 year old twin nieces, Ivy and Maeve. My sister in law didn’t realise how popular the names were but she had to have heard them from somewhere!
I have a little Athena, she’s 6 yrs. Back then I didn’t hear the name that much but now the name is starting to get popular again.
I read all of these to my husband and the only name he liked was Luna. He’s a big Harry Potter fan!
TONS of these are my husband's fav names and approved names! A few almost used, ultimately we picked a popular one after MONTHS of negotiations😂
I had my partner fill out this poll with me!! I can’t wait to see which names came out top 👀
Thanks so much Emily! x
omg i've never heard my name being talked about so nicely!
My husband likes Sophia or Hazel haha! I liked Hazel but wanted something a bit different, we now have a Lilianna and a Rosalie! Shocked he agreed to these names haha!
We also had Arabella on our list :) xxxxx
Eliana is my favourite from the "other" category at the end.
So happy to see you on my Monday! Proud of you for being back with a smile ❤
These are so much braver than my husband. His favorite girl names are literally Sarah and Clara and I'm like "give me more variety than that! 😂😭
I hope you had a Merry Christmas, SJ! I have been missing your videos!
When we were naming our kids, my husband had different taste, definitely slightly more traditional and not as turned off by the trendiness of trendy choices. But we did find agreement. Our girls are Suvi Jane and Minna Laurel.

Now trying to find baby #2s name. If it's a girl, he likes Delphinia Zora and Zoran or Axel for boys maybe. 😊
Love those names!!
It’s funny Opal was on this list. My husband wasn’t set on the name Opal until our daughter was born, but now he loves it.
Another great idea for a baby names list. Always impressed by how you keep this videos original and interesting.
I did a little squeal when you read out the three names my husband (and I 😆) added to your list...Erin (our little girl's name!), Harriet and Connie....glad you like them too! 😍🩷 Think we'll go with Connie should we be lucky enough to have another baby and it's a girl! X
It makes sense! My husband loved Evelyn and Opal, and our next girl will be Maeva! Our daughter is Lilia 🤍
My daughter is Rachel and I think it’s beautiful!!!
Mine too.... didn't know I could have done better 😘
It is a beautiful name. It is Biblical and will be popular long after the Delta, Quinn, Nevaeh names are thankfully forgotten. This video was quite rude. Only ridiculous laughable names are "in" now it seems.
My friend has a 3 month old and LOVES her MomCozy pump
We have a Willow Romy! We love it so much as the nickname Will is so cool but you still have the beautiful long form. For number two we are planning on using Juliet for a girl or Cedric for a boy 💛
Waiting on those baby boy names men love! Loved the girls list!

I do like the sound of Bex or Becks.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this one. The men picked some really nice ones.
my dad chose my name in 99! now all i hear is Skylar! he changed it up and made my middle name one letter so im Skylar J!
This list makes sense! My husband vetoed so many names and my girls names are Delta, Lucy & Violet!
My partners list was Georgia ( Gi-Gi ) , Kitty ,Daisy, Harriet , Scarlett ,Violet ,Charlotte , Faye & Tuesday he clearly likes the et sound :D
I love so many of these names ❤️

Love these! Currently pregnant with Violet Diane
Never thought of Tabitha before, and the nn Tabi is so cute!

New subscriber! How does one become a baby name consultant? I've never heard of one in the U.S.
The top E name shocked me. This was a fun theme.
Out of these my husband only liked Freya. He said Skylar and Jasmine were ok. He didn't like Wren because it made him think of an old gross cartoon called Ren & Stimpy. Bea is short for Beatrix and pronounced Bee.
I love Eleanor but my husband said absolutely not. We already have a 4 year old girl named Hazel. Took some convincing for that one. He said they will sound like “little old ladies” 😂😂
Well one day women named Ariana, Luna and Skyla will be seen as old lady names by the next generation haha
In my case, it's my wife is the one doing the vetoing without bringing any names to the table 😂

I used the momcozy and loved it!
I love the name Lotus for a baby girl
We’ve thought about Bea as short hand for Beatrice as it’s often used like that in Spanish.
Love Willow and Opal ❤on the list for baby #2
I can’t find the link for the teenagers vote their favourite names. Can you send me the link please?

I have an Austin and I love Ausper! I think it sounds really cool!!
@irishgirl3407 I do too! Potential alternative that is closer to Austen/Austin is Auspin. I think that may float some peoples' boats!
I thinks it’s wearable. It sounds like a name even though it’s made up, I like it!
Funny the name Connie should come up. My father called my mother Connie although her name was Evelyn Corinne.
Wow, I've never seen my name on a list. Joëlle...niiiice lol
My husband's first pick is Freydis. Which I don't like at all, haha!
My partner also likes Tabitha. I like it but not sure if it sounds too posh for us 😂😂 we both like anything that you can get a cute, unusual nickname from
My dad always said he wanted twins named Unique and Monique 🤣🤦♀️
My husband vetoed every name I threw at him and finally we settled on Alice. It’s not too overused here in the U.S. but still classic and a family name. Also easy to spell & pronounce which was important to me.
I love Alice so much!!
I also love Connie. I love the name Consuelo and would probably give the nickname Connie.
Love this! Where can i find the official list of UK baby names?
The office of national statistics release them each year and it’s on their website x
I absolutely love the name Mirabelle. If my son was a girl he would have been Mirabelle.
I think Mirabelle fits really nicely with the names of the daughters you already have :)
Could you do baby names that are of German Origin? I'd like to honour my grandmother by using a name of her heritage. Both boy and girl - unsure of what i'm having yet :P Love watching your videos!
i love lindy
Me too!
