Wow we seem to have come a ways since a stock SCX24. I think a FCX24 or Max Smasher is in my near future.
MAX SMASHER!! 💪🏼FMS really coming through with the monster truck! Looks like pretty tough truck and you can’t beat it for the price! Should come with the bigger motor out of the box but at least they have one for direct bolt up! As always thanks for sharing 🤘🏼
I've been trying to build a small scale monster/mud truck since the SCX24 came out. So awesome to see FMS coming out with RTR monster trucks!
That’s so awesome to see a true monster in the 24 scale, that thing takes those jumps and landings better that 1/10 I’ve seen! Not to mention the throwback art on the box! Totally reminded me of an old Tamiya.

Fms does a great job not only with the community but with their rc's and their build quality, they are one of the few rc brands that take pride in listening to the community and updating their products, fms is doing a great job and we need more rc's and their producers to be like fms is

It's nuts how far FMS has come with their RC trucks in such a short time. Awesome scale trucks, both large and small, with an increasing number of amazing features, then the fcx24 with the portals and a two speed gearbox. Nuts.
Not knocking Axial, but the Scx24 is getting kinda stale, when you see what fms is able to do. And now a freaking rtr, scale, hardbody monstertruck... Yeah, damn impressive for sure.
I desperately need to get me an fcx24 or max smasher eventually.
Yeah that’s what I was curious about, it is called the rollbar with the lights, I would hate to tear the lights off flipping over on concrete

Love this truck. Just pre ordered the Traxxas trx4m a few weeks ago and was not a fan of the other FMS trucks but this none is amazing. My first rc toy was a big foot truck in the 80's so this brings back memories. I need one so bad. Tks for the review

Man these little rigs look sweet. I have a custom built 1/24 with scx24 axles. It looks amazing but its slow. Been wanting to do an axle swap but Im almost tempted to pick one of these up. Awesome content as always

Damn, I saw an scx24 for a good price today and bought one. Although my 1/24 crawler collection is pretty decent I didn't have one. I saw ONE video of this truck and ordered two, one of each color. I've been collecting parts to build a micro monster truck and this is just the ticket. Nice vid as always 👍
Man these are sweet, the speed looks to be like a absolute must but they seems to take a lot of punishment which is fantastic news. Would also be a fantastic base for custom rigs

Idea! Max Smasher turned to Furitek Olympus rock bouncer! Then use the Max body for scale trail truck.
Well my Olympus is already running fcx axles so it’s kinda that way already lol. Thinking I may use an extra one of these bodies for a crawler tho!

He is honest, gets to the point, and is the most helpful creator! If you are into crawlers, monster trucks or anything 1/24th scale and not subscribed to 2FMRC you are missing out!

So cool! I wonder what an FCX would be like if you set it up with a locked rear and open front diff, might be useful for a rock racer or combination crawler/basher build. I did that with a slash vxl once. spool in the rear, heavy diff oil in the front, geared down with different spur and pinion, redcat camo x4 cage, and some 2.2 crawler tires I made fit on beadlock 2.2/3.0 short course wheels. it was OK at everything but excellent at nothing haha still fun as heck though.
AWESOME!!! Now I know what this max smashers all about, I can’t believe it does all that and doesn’t really get hurt. I always thought monster trucks had some specific type of axle to not get messed up. Your right that speed motor is a must it’s too cool without it.
I just got an idea what if you put on some smaller wheels and rock crawl it the body looks good 👍🏻

Thanks for the heads up on the speed motor, ordered one up, I’m sure after being use to the Godzilla system in my other monster trucks that stock motor would have been a huge disappointment, truck is on the way and a motor too now.
Yeah you would definitely be let down with the stock motor. The speed motor is kinda the perfect match. Enough to have fun but not so much power you constantly break things lol
I've got a FCX24 K5 Blazer getting delivered today. I had such a hard time hitting the 'Place Order' button without a Smasher in the cart either in addition to or in place of the K5. It wouldn't have been the first time I bought a monster truck instead of a crawler but I really wanted to get that first crawler in the fleet. I've always had a soft spot for monster trucks going back to my Kyosho Big Boss and attending Truck & Tractor Pulls with my dad when I was a kid. I have no doubt one of these will be headed to my home in the near future.

I’ll probably build one with 4ws but these little things turn so well all the 4ws does is make them loop out easier really lol

The box reminds me of the old Tamyia boxes as a kid. Definitely a cool box art. I used to have a Kyosho USA1 Monster truck 1/10 scale with dual brushed motors. It looks just like the White Mad Smasher.

The red ramp is the Fly Wheels Ramp and can be picked up online pretty reasonably. I am still trying to figure out what the smaller black one is as it looks like it'd be a fun for an indoor ramp for winter.

@@2fmrc I got mine on the SPOOKY sale and it’s been in the box for three days because I haven’t had the time to do a proper unboxing. Killing me.
Looks like a great body too make an original 1988 black stallion out of it, though with less problems then that truck had probably being an early monster truck, plenty of clips of the 80's trucks crumbling from their own weight or being so stiff they basically injured the drivers running them as they bounced across the cars they were racing over.
Earthquake owned by Alan Fenstermaker is another monster truck that could work for this in black.
Orignal Bearfoot on the blue one maybe as well.
They should release an edition with a red, Chevy square body and white wheels in tribute to ANOTHER legendary monster truck. 😉

As much as I want the Cayman built for my next rig the Max smasher is definitely worth it IMO
I think the squishy tires That comes with will be better for monster trucking it will exorbitant the landings
