Thanks for this video! I'm ripping my first 3D movie now to watch in Big Screen. Great informative video, thank you!
Nice one mate, handy guide as have only just got dvdfab, cheers
Awesome ❤️✌️
Thank you for this video. Just one question please: in this video for ripping 3d blu-rays you recommend using H264 codec but increase the bits/pixel to 0.16 for a better video quality. But in your other video "DVDfab 11 : it's a Love Letter to Blu-ray's 3D & UHD Blu-ray's Lovers" you recommend using the H265 codec and keep the bits/pixel down at 0.08. Both videos were produced at the same time (4 years ago) so I assume they both used the same software version. Could you please recommend wich video instructions to follow for ripping 3D blu-rays? I can also confirm that I can play both types of files (H264 & H265) so this is not an issue for me. Thank you.
Can i convert to 3D(Side by side or over -under) from files(BDMV) already on my HDDs
i have a few Blus that are passive 3D which cannot be played on my active 3D tv,the folder also has the 2D version
Is there any method to convert either of those to active/over-under or side by side?
i bought a few music discs and was disappointed to find they are all passive.i can still watch in 2D,but i bought for 3D
i would also like to keep the hirez multi channels intact as well
If i can do this it will be worth the purchase
Can this be done with the free version of DVDFab?
Hi, can you tell me what DVD driver LG you have ( model and serial) because my pioneer UHD it’s no working with dvdfab but only de 4K uhd , because it’s work with blueray.. with UHD my pioneer it’s unfriendly.. can you help me ?
10 terabyte SSD is that okay too , I have enough space. :) thanks for info. I'll let you know if it worked out the way I want it to.
This is silly, It is possible to watch your 3d blu rays on your vr [Oculus quest 2] headset from your blu ray player, and do so in real time without a 3d tv. All you really need is a budget hdmi splitter box which strips the HDCP protection signal from the hdmi signal before sending it to a bog standard hdmi to usb converter dongle. The key step is to set this in the software [vlc] to convert the hdmi at 1080p at 24 fps, eg 1920 x 1080 - this makes dongle appear to be a 3dtv. You then view the converted Topbottom signal on your desktop in vLc. Once you have this in fullscreen mode, use the virtual desktop to convert the TOPBottom into 3d. There is no need to rip, or poorly covert, or store the 20gb - 40 gb files on you VR headset. Just buy your 3d blu ray disc and watch real time in vr at 1080p. Who knows with more people buying 3d blu rays we might turn that industry around.
That's 3d disc >> 3d player >> hdmi splitter >> hdmi to usb dongle >> to pc software vlc set to convert at 1080p 24fps >> to VR software Virtual desktop, [or Big Screen if you have win 10 to run that] >> VR 3d.
You can also hack the properties settings in a copy of the Vlc icon so it loads with the 1080p defaults already set for your hdmi / usb dongle. This way its just click and go. see below. Just replace the "USB Video" with your own dongle name, and the same for the (usb Digital Audio)" so it points to the audio for that capture device.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" dshow:// :dshow-vdev="USB Video" :dshow-adev="Digital Audio Interface (USB Digital Audio)" :dshow-aspect-ratio="16:9" :dshow-size=1920x1080 : :live-caching=300 :dshow-fps=24
Pot player can natively play 3D blurays and iso files without doing any of this either. I have a 3D projector that it works great on. My vr headset is only hooked up with the hdmi cable it came with using big screen beta to simulate my pc screen.
This is not exactly about this subject. However, would you happen to know how to convert HD DVDs to a digital file?
Have you tried this DVDFab Enlarger AI? Does it really improve the quality?
Can you connect a panasonic blu ray player to pc and with hdmi or usb ?
So is the sbs (side by side) video after the conversion left side left eye and right side right eye view?
Hello Sir,
I purchased DVDFab 11 (Blu-Ray ripper). I dont have the options for 3D in the advance settings. I purchased this because I read this was one of the better programs that gave a proper 3D video play back. Did they remove this feature or I am not setting something correctly.
You need to change profile from MKV Default to 3D MKV (at the top left of the screen)
@@olehyakobchuk4021 figured it out, but thank you for the reply!
@@tonymck1618 i know this is a couple years old, but what fixed it? Im having the same issue.
Is it also possible to convert to 2 channels? It would not matter if using headphones, right?
You can describe a person by looking at his desktop arrangement. Thanks by the way.
Yet another snide comment towards someone trying to help others
👍👍👍
Wow
Seems that the video loses alot of the depth and 3D effect when converting to SBS. Almost felt like I was just watching a standard 2D movie. Feel like it ruined Avatar 3D completely
How can I reproduce Bluray 3D on my pc to watch it on the projector? It looks 2D, I can only see the Rip SBS.
Not an option for split screen in dvd fab 12 just 3d pass through
Is 3D passthrough the way to rip to playback on Bigscreen VR?
@@meejmuas8686 no idea
The question is...can I take a 4k bluray and convert it to 3d????
Yes you can , but you will need a software 😉it Can be pricey .
@@MRFOURKAY Please give me a link to check it out.
Ooh ok geeky
Oh by the way USB 2.0 is not the way to go. It will take like forever. USB 3.0 is the way too go
