ABSOLUTELY do the tutorial on the glass! That build turned out absolutely beautiful, man! I also really like the way you do your vlogs, I could see that being a more common thing for you to do with your vids. I certainly wouldn't mind!
This format reminds me of the "First impressions" style of video with a lot more polish. We get to see the product in a more natural way and not just a specs sheet read off to us. Love it and hope we get to see more like it!
Jay, this really is a fantastic review. I'm sure these take a lot more effort to make, but this is what a review should be like: knowing how it is to build in the specific case, the pro's and cons, the design tops and flops, it's brilliant! I now know more than the specs and how it looks, I really know how it is to build in it and what this case is actually capable of. Thank you!
The glass tubing adds a variety of visual bonuses that plastic or pet just will never be able to acquire or duplicate. My favorite and the biggest clue that something was up regarding the use of elbows instead of bending. I haven't read though the comments, but I'm sure other's have commented on the ability to see the actual wall thickness of the tubing. Not possible with other tubing materials. BTW, that is a very high quality glass.
Absolutely love the glass tubes. There is a nice effect with the glass, like a "halo" outside the blue liquid. You can't get that with plastic. A fine looking build!
*[In My Opinion]* - Mr Jay, I really truly love the way your channel is right now :) The way you're recording and editing the videos, is great. It just makes me wanna make a cup of tea (Yes I'm British) and sit back to just relax and soak in the awesome nerdy goodness :) Top stuff, Jay, GJ.
Really liked the style of this video. I'm a big fan of watching build logs for sure, and every time I watch a review on a case immediately I start asking; "what hardware will fit in it?" I usually resort to looking at case and part measurements and making drawings, but lots of stuff comes up when you physically work on a build that you can't plan for - like in this case the top allows for dual 140mm fans but NOT the dual 140 radiator. If I was making plans for a build I would have planned for a thin dual 140mm rad and would have been really disappointed later. Showing a sample build (and a beautiful one at that) in a case while simultaneously reviewing it is very useful...and entertaining. Keep these coming!
Bro, this build is sick. Been following you for a while now and i really like this build.. It's actually one of my favorites of all the builds you've done. The colours are perfect.
this video was pretty good, id recommend giving this computer to your daughter so she can start making csgo commentaries, before you know it, she'll be making more money than you.
Cs go commentaries are for my friends deranged little brother. He is 5 and is obsessed with Sunset Overdrive, GTA 5 and call of duty. Now we wait until he figures out WASD
This build is truly beautiful! Here's hoping the pastel fluid doesn't color shift too bad to something nasty on you! You put your heart into your builds Jay, and it shows! Please keep it up and thank you for sharing!
only been watching your channel for the last maybe 2 months but man you got loads of awesome vids. so much more personal style which really shows your genuine tech loving guy
"Jay, please do a glas tubing tutorial video!!!" Yes, pleas do it. And it looks so nice, so nead and clean and yeah, I love it, too. And I can´t say, that your lazy not bending tubes. I just didn´t saw you did not bend it... I saw it when you said it, but not before, so good job Jay!
That Stinger MoBo looks good in there. It blends in almost like there are electronic components attached/soldered on the case itself. The space for said board just hugs around it beautifully.
boy that glass tubing looks sick, first thing I noticed was the open center, I like it, shows off the motherboard and makes the tubing look less cluttered. Great build, thanks for doing something a bit different for a case review.
+BurblingBarbacoa He literally said in his video to write in the comments if you want glass cutting tutorial which implies that it would be a video on glass tubing as a whole, yet a bunch of people are trying to say he already has made the video.....please sir show me the video that he asked if we wanted TODAY. Not trying to be a dick I've just seen people doing this all over the comments and its irritating.
I absolutely love this build, The color the parts and the tubbing "is great", this is how all cases should be reviewed, put in something unique and challenging :D
I didn't even know you could use glass tubes for a computer build till this video. IT was pretty cool to see the finished project. Thanks for showing the up close of the glass water Tubing as well vs plastic. Nice touch on the details.
Hi Jay, i just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the videos you upload to youtube, i find them all very useful and gives people a good idea of what to and what not to do with the latest pc components, i really enjoyed this build and i`m hoping to build myself another pc in the coming months, but money is tight. Just wanted to say thanks, and your videos/tutorials have helped me make the right choices for what i want :)
+JayzTwoCents hey jay, I have a custom loop with soft tubing. I want to go with hard tubing. Where can I find those bits power tubing to tubing 90° turns? Thanks to anyone who responds
+Ryan Grobe I go back and forth, it really just depends if it's done right, this looks absolutely amazing with the straight tubes and 90 degree fittings, but I can get equally geeked out over well done bends. When I finally get down and do a custom loop I'm going to have a lot of struggles deciding how to do it.
Victor Guillen just 3 things you gotta look out for, the length of the video card and how much space you have. - how uch radiator an fans is enough to cool it and the CPU - how much electricity you need in th power supply
I am just fascinated by the video, it's such a small case but it watercolor pretty much just a good an easily as a standard case (with some minor conflicts). There's just so much 'coolness' in this case and it will definitely make badass looking living room PC. Also I do like this format of video, it makes the builds seem as if they're made and not just produced in a factory line, I like seeing the process and find it fairly interesting, I hope you continue to do more. And yes, do a glass-cutting tutorial as I am very curious as to how it works consider I've never water-cooled, ever! (AIOs, which is what I have, I don't think are badass enough to be called water-cooling).
Man i know alot of ppl hate on the fittings but i actually prefer them over bends looks wise. Given me alot of ideas, thanks man looking at this case for my first water cooling build keep up the good work man.
If you were me then you would know there aren't any in light blue and that white was the next best option, but that would also mean that you wouldn't have ever said that you should have done light blue, because you would have known the answer before ever commenting
Only lazy amateurs pay money for L fittings. Right when I saw that he used fittings instead of bending the tubes I stopped watching. It's not that difficult to bend plastic tubes and it would have been cheaper than those expensive ass fittings.
Maybe you should have actually paid attention to the video then, cause they aren't plastic. They are glass tubes. Bending them would take a serious effort compared to plastic tubes and a tremendous amount of heat.
For someone who never uses and dislikes watercooling as my country temps not warrant it, I was really taken by this build. The lines, the tubing and that pastel colouring looks fantastic I think for my next pc build I will be looking at Fractal and watercooled system.
Finally, I've been waiting ever so impatiently since you first teased this build. As usual, you make it look so easily done. Love it, Jay. Thank you for giving us Content worth watching. :)
Really nice video and the vlog style really gives a better idea of what the case is like. Hope I had videos like this for all the cases out there to help me decide on my next case.
I like the glass tubing - when the video started I wondered if it was glass as it looked super clean and looked just like my Boiler glass view tube! Nice work.
Yes please do the glass cutting video. That System looks great. Nickel plated fittings instead of normal bends gives it an awesome look. Thx for another grate video man.
I have never felt the need to comment in a build log before but this is such an awesome little build. If I were to build a custom looped ITX build, I would love for it to be this.
I have the Nano's big brother and I really like it. This video has really sold me on that case for a HTPC build. I like the style of video. The only thing that bugs me about glass tubing is that you have to use many more fittings to get it done. That said, bending PTEG was the hardest part of the loop that I have in my system now. When I redo my loop....I probably will go with glass.
I love that color of the fluid. Also, how about glass tubing in skunkworks? It'd make it look more classy with its clean looks. (no scratches and stuff).
Loved the build Jay and I loved the way you incorporated something different into it. I would love to see the next generation of skunkworks with glass tubing it looks great!
I really like that build. It's really nice. The glass tubing is perfect. Can't wait to see the glass tubing tutorial. It's really making me want to do watercooling on a second build, but I'm going to worry about my first pc build first. Keep it up Jay!
Definitely down with the video style of this though I hope to one day see another full build live stream again :) As for glass tutorials I would absolutely be ready to watch some of those. Keep up the good work Jay
The glass tubing looks very nice. Good video. I'm thinking of doing an HTPC DVR machine with a mix of cable card and ota broadcasting along with internet streaming...lots to think out on this.
Really great video. I actually really enjoyed the vloggy style. Standard review stuff gets a little boring after a while, this lets you see any issues you have first hand as you run into them.
Pastel Jay is back... Thx 4 the vlog... Was hoping to put a 280 rad in the top but thanks to you, I now know that it won't work. Oh yeah, would like to see a glass walk-through...
This vid, plus the glass cutting, then the load test with temp analysis, is the Lord of the Water trilogy. Although I would have loved to see a quick montage of the glass tubes and fittings being assembled, with a few words about any troubles pulling the loop (or parts) out to fit things, so we could see what order you did things and such. Excellent shiz yo. Hobbit WC case FTW!
that glass is really thick jay so i really doubt its 9 mm id . judging by this video and knowing outer diameter is 12mm i would say inner diameter looks to be around 7 mm . can you please confirm what size it is ?
5 years later, and still one of my favorite builds he’s ever done.
Seriously, how can you dislike this? This is so freaking beautiful.
And that glass? Genius.
Dislikes come from people who don't like this channel
I LOVE the look of that glass and chrome. You should do more of this. Change the Skunk over to glass!
ABSOLUTELY do the tutorial on the glass! That build turned out absolutely beautiful, man! I also really like the way you do your vlogs, I could see that being a more common thing for you to do with your vids. I certainly wouldn't mind!
chrome elbows and glass tubing looks amazing.
This format reminds me of the "First impressions" style of video with a lot more polish. We get to see the product in a more natural way and not just a specs sheet read off to us. Love it and hope we get to see more like it!
can you please do a uber ghetto water cooled build using garden hose, Coke bottle reservoirs & car heater cores? :)
+Slot1Gamer That... that would be amazing!
+Slot1Gamer PLS
+Slot1Gamer YES amazing
yes please
+Slot1Gamer go watch linus junkyard wars...
Jay, this really is a fantastic review. I think that fittings look better than bends.
I agree 100%
+Numero Set same and it easier too
the fittings and the coolant color are what I noticed first.
i like the industrial look it brings
Yeah, but it's way more expansive xD
Jay, the B-Roll and Music with it were awesome!!!!! You're totally hitting the Higher Quality content you wanted to make!!!
Also the light blue was a great color. Your craftsmanship is still tip-top! 👌
More glass videos. And that blue is beautiful
This case cries for an R 9 nano
ikr
yes... With an r9 nano you can put a second radiator in the front
+Bananen Cocktail and a lot cleaner build
Water-cooled.
+Lars Hei yeah a nano and a sfx psu from silverstone
Absolutely love the glass tubes. There is a nice effect with the glass, like a "halo" outside the blue liquid. You can't get that with plastic. A fine looking build!
please do a glass cutting tutorial.
Just use acrylic
*[In My Opinion]* - Mr Jay, I really truly love the way your channel is right now :) The way you're recording and editing the videos, is great. It just makes me wanna make a cup of tea (Yes I'm British) and sit back to just relax and soak in the awesome nerdy goodness :)
Top stuff, Jay, GJ.
Body cam build is a A GO!
DO IT!
Really liked the style of this video. I'm a big fan of watching build logs for sure, and every time I watch a review on a case immediately I start asking; "what hardware will fit in it?" This EVGA Motherboard ... looks so sick *.*
Bro, this build is sick. Been following you for a while now and i really like this build.. It's actually one of my favorites of all the builds you've done. The colours are perfect.

when all linus' videos lately are shit. fear no further.. keep it up jay this was nice to see.
+sam bridger AANnnndddd...... he loves doing rigid.... win win
only been watching your channel for the last maybe 2 months but man you got loads of awesome vids. so much more personal style which really shows your genuine tech loving guy
The space for said board just hugs around it beautifully.
i think it would be easier if you use the r9 nano for a perfect itx build.
that glass looks so nice, gives an epic look to the coolant with that little bit of transparency around the edges.
I'd love a Glass tubing tutorial. Looks sick!
+Michael009 he has like 5 vids on all the type of tubing. look in his videos m8 ;)
Walter Eikrem well, he said "Write in the comments if you guys want a Glass tubing tutorial" lol but thx
+Walter Eikrem He doesnt have one for glass tubing which is why he mentioned that he was thinking of making a tutorial.
The color scheme of this build is really good!
Check back in 4 weeks when it goes from pastel blue to grungy yellow.
boy that glass tubing looks sick, first thing I noticed was the open center, I like it, shows off the motherboard and makes the tubing look less cluttered. Great build, thanks for doing something a bit different for a case review.
plz jay do a glass tutorial
+Jman hardtubing? he has done one already
he's done a hard-line watercooling tutorial. he's actually done a few
+BurblingBarbacoa He literally said in his video to write in the comments if you want glass cutting tutorial which implies that it would be a video on glass tubing as a whole, yet a bunch of people are trying to say he already has made the video.....please sir show me the video that he asked if we wanted TODAY. Not trying to be a dick I've just seen people doing this all over the comments and its irritating.
basssq3 thank you for explaining that to the incompetent people that commented above you
+basssq3 yep. I made the bad decision of commenting before the video was done. bad idea. apology.
I absolutely love this build, The color the parts and the tubbing "is great", this is how all cases should be reviewed, put in something unique and challenging :D
honestly I think the tubes look better with the 90° fittings
Imo it depends on the application/ skill of the bending hands and the over all look. in this case it looks great.
I didn't even know you could use glass tubes for a computer build till this video.
IT was pretty cool to see the finished project. Thanks for showing the up close of the glass water Tubing as well vs plastic. Nice touch on the details.
So, I got a notification, but the video did not show up in my sub box.
+SubarashiPiano Same here.
+SubarashiPiano yeah jay talked about it in his tech talk too thats why i ticked the notification check mark
+SubarashiPiano Welcome to UA-cam. The place where NOTHING works propperly
+BarshGaming it actually works as intended. it's all diversion.
same here, UA-cam glitch me thinks.
Love the look of the glass. Before you said anything about it, I thought it was noticeably clearer looking. GJ Jay!

Am I the only one who misses the kiddish high-pitched "TRANSITION" phrase? :(
+Ali Adam It still makes random appearances from time to time.
+JayzTwoCents hey jay, I have a custom loop with soft tubing. I want to go with hard tubing. Where can I find those bits power tubing to tubing 90° turns? Thanks to anyone who responds
The blue you chose is gorgeous, as well as the build. Would love to see more water-cooled builds in the future!
Been taking b-roll lessons from Dmitri?
Or simply just copying dmitri
Really like this build. Refined, no-nonsense, no Christmas tree LED lights, beautiful glass tubing in a beautiful small case.
I think it looks better than having bent tubing.
I wish more people would sponsor Jay. I really like watching a ton of his videos.
+Elite Exposure agreed but most of the guys who watch his videos have a stock cooler
+Haris Khan amd phenom II X4 955 w/ stock cooler reporting in!
Would a 1060 or 1080 over kill?
Victor Guillen just 3 things you gotta look out for, the length of the video card and how much space you have.
- how uch radiator an fans is enough to cool it and the CPU
- how much electricity you need in th power supply
It fits these cards. I run a strix 1060 in there.
sweet build and very good video, loved the part were you put the music in and showed off the stellar glass tubes. Thanks for making it for us.
thank fucking god for modular psu(s)..... best idea.... ever
I am just fascinated by the video, it's such a small case but it watercolor pretty much just a good an easily as a standard case (with some minor conflicts). custom watercooled r9 nano would have been much more space efficient
And will give it a better performance.
Man i know alot of ppl hate on the fittings but i actually prefer them over bends looks wise. Given me alot of ideas, thanks man looking at this case for my first water cooling build keep up the good work man.
WHAT IS THIS NEW LIKE BUTTON ON COMMENTS. EUGH. IT'S SO GAUDY
You don't realize that the comment like buttons have been there for YEARS?!
+JayzTwoCents gg
+JayzTwoCents It's just another way of asking for likes.
+crazymonkeyboom i know im not jay but, yes it will
***** No. I see the like buttons as weird grey boxes instead of what I had earlier - where it was free floating
Really impressed by the build. Especially with the whole glass tubing. Great job Jay!
+jayztwocents great build Jay! tube lines are sexy as hell!!
glass looks so much cleaner, and I like seeing the nice and clear thickness of the tubing
+JayzTwoCents Very nice build man.
the glass tubing looks amazing and especially with those fittings because they both shine and make it look nice
If i were him I would have done light blue power supply cords
If you were me then you would know there aren't any in light blue and that white was the next best option, but that would also mean that you wouldn't have ever said that you should have done light blue, because you would have known the answer before ever commenting
+JayzTwoCents that reply tho
+JayzTwoCents rectenation
+JayzTwoCents maximum SASSSSSS
+JayzTwoCents your replies are beautiful.
That is one of the best builds I have ever seen. Given the small case it is perfection.
#NotificationSquad
VloggyReviewBuild style is nice
I love the right angle connectors and the glass tubes with that pastel blue.
Please Edit title "NSFW"
That is one beautiful build. The Bitspower fittings get me every time.
Nice choice of music during the build montage. Cool build all around. Classy!
Just watched this, this is the best looking build I have ever seen. Well done Jay just gave me a few ideas for my new build.
I love the way the glass tubing looks
I actually like the no bends.. Those chrome fittings make it so classy. Love the colour theme as well. More videos like this in the future Jay..
Dude, the notch cutout IS awesome. Love it!
SFX builds are challenging but IMO are the most fun and rewarding to build in. Nice job Jay!
Man, 20 minute video takes so much work to produce. Probably several days, great content
Nice job Jay! It looks amazing!
I actually love the "non-bend" corners ;)
The b-roll was awesome and the music choise was better!
Love the Build ! wish we could have done a speed run build but getting this vid done is epic. wonderful job Jay
The glass tubes look nice because of the effect you get between the outer and inner diameters when filled.
"We're gonna do it VLOGy style..." You sir, crack me up!
Loved the build Jay and I loved the way you incorporated something different into it. I would love to see the next generation of skunkworks with glass tubing it looks great!
This is one of the best looking builds I have ever seen. Awesome job sir.
I really like that build. It's really nice. The glass tubing is perfect. Can't wait to see the glass tubing tutorial. It's really making me want to do watercooling on a second build, but I'm going to worry about my first pc build first. Keep it up Jay!
Amazing work jayz! thanks for allwaiting for more builds and tutorial with glass
This chase looks sick, Really like the collours and that you used glass tubing.
Keep up the good work J.
Definitely down with the video style of this though I hope to one day see another full build live stream again :) As for glass tutorials I would absolutely be ready to watch some of those. Keep up the good work Jay
Really like when loops get filled. I somehow admire it...for some reason.
That blue looks amazing in the glass tubes in my opinion.
i would love to have that build, like wow that stuffs amazing, you also nailed that finale presentation soundtrack and all
The glass tubing looks very nice.
Excellent shiz yo. Hobbit WC case FTW!
Great edits on the montage shot, you did a great job here Jay.
that glass is really thick jay so i really doubt its 9 mm id . judging by this video and knowing outer diameter is 12mm i would say inner diameter looks to be around 7 mm . can you please confirm what size it is ?
13:06 that sure is one nice power cable. definitely deserves that b-roll
Love the glass tubes and the 90's... Looks very clean.
