I would like to see the RESURGENCE of a similar protest movement that the Folk Renaissance both spurred on, supported, and STARTED . . the TIMES they are A'Changin.'
Hello from New York City. I saw them from their beginning and for 30 times from Carnegie Hall to Peace Rallies etc. they could sing anywhere without mic too
I completely agree;- on the level of someone who was Christian;- explored Bhodichristianity;- and is toying with Mahayana/Tibetan Buddhism at times. Music is so Universal!
A billion squillion thanks for making this available. I remember it so well. These wonderful people shaped my life (and still do). I miss Mary so much but still keep up with Noel and Betty's "new " church and Peter's musings during the COVID peak and his tireless work to bring peace and unity along with his daughter Bethany and Rufus. Our kids and grandkids will "Carry It On".
This is Amazing Footage! It should be a National Treasure that they deemed to visit our fair shores with their incredible, timeless work! They are a very important part of Music and Political History...though those two things are often the same! So much can still be learnt and prayerfully remembered!!!
It was fun to watch them being so relaxed and playful. Acoustics weren't very good but they were outside. I haven't seen this video before and am happy to have found it. A wonderful collection of songs. 😁👏
I have to sing a song, oh was absolutely lovely done, they were fabulous, so thankful to hear it And when I die is exceptionally beautiful both the lyrics and the interpretation, this is what life should be❤
Es lo mas hermoso que escuchado, admiro sus voces y con sencillez logran algo mágico y Mary es la mujer más hermosa y su voz es fuera de serie…los amo desde Chile 2024. Mary descansa en paz…
