I'm reading the past posters arguing which city is better, fresno or bakersfield. Thats like arguing about which one out of 2 shits smells a little better then the other.
@Lunatic4Bizcas I just said Fresno was much worse than pretty much any city in Cali. Bako has more crime than most of L.A. Even Skid Row is cleaned up these days, but I bet you wouldn't have the balls to even drive down there to see it.
@Magnificoooooo : Fresno is a giant shit hole from what I've mostly seen of it, and the crime rate is much worse than Bakersfield. Sure, Bako has its fair share of crime, but Fresno is much worse. Actually, I don't think there is much similarity between both cities. Bakersfield has a more interesting and unique downtown, while aside from the new ball park in Fresno, its downtown is pretty much all run down and hardly has any character.

Downtown Bakersfield looks way better than downtown Fresno. .
I spent a summer with relatives in Bakersfield in the early 70s. It's an awful place. Fresno and Stockton come in a close second and third.
