Nice job showing off the gear for car camping. Looks like that mattress is great for making the trip more comfortable. The tent made the back a little bit better but it did seems it might leak on the top side. Still an ok option for a hatch back style vehicle solution. Cool hike and finds. You are set to go out again. Have a great day.
Cool total setup mattress and tent great to know what you think about them beautiful country you hike in. I need to get out with my new pup and try teaching her to shed hunt
Looks like a good product. Definitely a game-changer for the Rogue. I can see a lot of good applications for the product. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights on it. Solid MOTM session. Keep smiling.
Cool set up John! I like the bed is two separate air compartments. I think this is perfect for what you will be doing! Arrowhead 13:00 ? Beautiful with the snow falling during your hike. Nice that the tent fit back in the bag 👍 Great point on parking down hill front slant! I also like the awning can be zipped up to close it in. It’s definitely a nice setup. Great review and trip brother 👊
You do a thorough job on your reviews !! Looks like a handy piece of gear to have , especially if you have an SUV Looks like pretty good quality ! Thanks for sharing 😊👍🏻
Looks like a super useful camp/overnight setup John.. Definitely something a lot of folks are interested in... Including myself. Great review and hike as always... Safe travels buddy... And happy Weekend ✌️
Morning John! This set up is awesome. The company offered me to try the pick-up truck one, then they realized they cant deliver here to Canada, which was disappointing. This would have been great for us. A good tip to tie off to your windshield wipers. Interesting that you found it noisy compared to a regular tent. Thanks for the video!
Definitely a neat looking setup brother, curious to see how it holds up for you. That would be nice like you said to have the extra leg room and the added ventilation with the hatch open would be really nice. Even though you didn’t find a shed that was a cool find with the artifact. Day 2 you answered my question with the rain and snow running in the back and never thought about the straps restricting the door functions. Great job on the review brother!
Add a couple magnets on the top to hold the tent flush with the roof, it helps keep everything out. Also on the mirror ropes, if you have a little slack, you can have them run inside the door instead of outside. This way you can use the doors.
Cool! Nice to hear your thoughts and would agree with all...although I'm not sure if I'd be able to sleep with my head downhill...but I guess I could sleep with my head at the tailgate.
This looks like a great setup! Thanks for the review! We just bought a Kodiak Canvas truck bed tent and whenever it gets a bit warmer, we might try and do a review video on it. Maybe. 😂 Great Bible verse at the end. AMEN! 🥰
Hi a new friend brings 🌺 to your garden 🏡 i love your content so awesome many thanks for your hard work. Such a lovely video 📷.Stay connected 🎉. İ wish you all the best 😊
Neet set up with the mattress and tent. Our SUV is a Ford Escape. And if we leave the hatch open even with the dome lights shut off the computer recognizes that and will kill the battery. Wish we could use something like that but my pick up will have to do.
Cool set up for the Nissan . Nice find with the Arrow head. Good that you were able to set it up in the wind by yourself and the extra leg room worked out. Great review.
Another comment said something similar. This Nissan is old enough that if you switch off the dome lights, there is no drain on the battery. They make one for trucks, but they asked me to review the SUV model.
New subscriber here. Looks like you camped at really pretty spot. We also post outdoor content on our channel. I was doing some research on this HeyTrip tent and found your video. Looks like a great concept.
That is a really cool set up. I have been seeing people camp like this more and more. Did you have to disconnect your battery or is there a way to keep the dome light out as to not drain the car battery?
When I shut my dome lights off, it doesn't drain the battery so I didn't have to disconnect it. You do have to be careful not to stretch the bottom of the tent over your exhaust pipe, which I forgot to mention in the review.
That looks like a pretty cool option. You should show that to the Hunting Public since they live on the road in hunting season. Lol. I guess Im below average in height since Im only 5' 10"😂 ... You didn't find your body trying to fall between the seams, other than you said your feet? Great thorough review!
The seam was tight enough that I didn't feel myself slipping in it, except for my feet. I wouldn't want to sleep in it for two or three nights in a row, but it was great for a quick overnighter.
They asked me what make and model SUV I had, so I know they have a few different sizes. I would think they have one that could fit a Golf. You're right about the fast exit and having to take it off the wheels.
Interesting, How did the tent do as far as draft when you put it up snug for sleeping at night? Does it keep out much wind around your feet? Great review John and cool find on the worked piece of obsidian!!
I think it's going to be great for quick overnighters. I don't think I'd use it for longer stays in the same place. Thanks for watching and hope it continues to serve you well.
I'm curious how was this air mattress in colder weather like that? I know they are usually ambient air which is freezing. Did you sleep on this in cold weather, or was this down around St George, or Vegas?
the air mattress company selected a normal weight demonstrator for their seals, and supplied patches and adhesive with the bed. for a real test Place 200+ lbs of weight on the inflated bed and see how it does for a few days of refilling. my family went through 3 Top of the line beauty rest pillow top air mattresses before no more exchanges at Walmart were allowed, as you must upgrade to a more expensive unit each time, even when they continuously leak. we toped out at the most expensive and ended up discarding it because the 800 lb weight guarantee was worthless.
That would give you more head room for sure. I was able to stretch out without doing that, but if I was a little taller that would definitely be a good idea. Thanks for watching.

So beautiful place, beautiful scenery, enjoy
Thanks for watching. We are blessed with some really pretty country in Utah.
Nice product and I'm glad you were able to get out
Thanks for watching, my friend.
Beautiful snow coming down😁
Nice piece of gear! Great job reviewing it😀
Thanks for coming along. Have a great week.
I really liked the mattress but it all looked really cool. Have a great week ahead my friend!
The mattress definitely makes sleeping in the back of that more comfortable.
Pretty neat and handy suv tent! Definitely the air mattresses make sleeping way more enjoyable 👍 Awesome MOTM as always 👍
I think for a quick overnighter, it is a great option.
Great product review of the tent and mattress! Looks like a great set up! 😊👍❤️and thank you for the message! God bless! ❤️🙏
I wouldn't want to do a long trip in it, but it was pretty sweet for an overnighter.
Looks like a good product. Definitely a game-changer for the Rogue. I can see a lot of good applications for the product. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights on it. Solid MOTM session. Keep smiling.
Thanks, Stacy. Have a great week and hope you're able to get out in the outdoors.
Combining tents with vehicles has sure become popular, looks ideal for a quick over night trip!!👍
It works well for one night. I wouldn't want to use it for an extended stay. Thanks so much for watching.

Thanks, Chris. It was the start of an arrowhead, but it looked like they bailed on it. Hope you have a great week.

Thanks so much for watching. I sure appreciate all the support. Hope you're having a great weekend.
That tent is pretty easy to set up. That mattress looks pretty comfy. Be blessed.
It was definitely an easy set up. The mattress is a game changer.
Looks like a great time
Thanks for watching, Dave.
@@MinuteontheMountain my pleasure
Looks like a nice setup John. Sorry the sheds hid from you 😁
Haha, they seem to be pretty good at that sometimes.
Morning John!

Thanks for the video!
Thanks, Dan. I mentioned to them that I had a truck if they wanted me to test that one, but they asked me to do the SUV. Thanks for all the support.
Intresting concept! Look pretty descent, I like how thick the matress is!
Thanks for showing John✌
Thanks, Marc. It isn't something I'll use on longer trips, but I think it might work well for a single night out.
Definitely a neat looking setup brother, curious to see how it holds up for you. Hey John,
Thanks for the review and the hike. Enjoyed them both. 👍🏻

Great idea on the magnets. I really liked using the wipers to tie them down, but can see that leaving some slack would work with the doors.
Nice looking unit, no snow on the ground in March is crazy. Great review
It's been nice and warm (50s) here the last week, but getting cooler this weekend. Thanks for watching.
Great camping set up
I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. Thanks for watching.
Cool! Nice to hear your thoughts and would agree with all...although I'm not sure if I'd be able to sleep with my head downhill...but I guess I could sleep with my head at the tailgate.
Thanks for watching. It wouldn't have to be at a steep downhill, just slight.
Nice review on the SUV tent. Like you said, it does look like you'd have to position the vehicle to minimize water from rain. But looks great overall.
Thanks for coming along. Hope you have a blessed week.
This looks like a great setup! Thanks for the review! We just bought a Kodiak Canvas truck bed tent and whenever it gets a bit warmer, we might try and do a review video on it. Maybe. 😂 Great Bible verse at the end. AMEN! 🥰

looks like a great setup 👌 👍

Here for you friends
Thanks so much for watching.
This looks like a pretty comfortabele matress and the tent is nice when it rains or you need a bit more privacy.
Have a great day! Kaat
Thanks so much for watching and for taking a minute to comment. Have a great week.
That looks pretty cool. I'd sleep in it for sure.
I wouldn't want to do it for more than a night or two at the most, but for a quick trip like that it worked well.
Cool video and product. Seems decent for those that hit the mountains in an suv. Kinda cool.
Thanks for watching, Shifty. I wouldn't use it for an extended camping trip, but it works pretty sweet for a quick overnighter.
@@MinuteontheMountain Sure seemed nice for rainy nights.

Nice review looks like it would work great for you. Some nice country you were shed hunting
We're blessed with some really pretty country out here. Thanks so much for watching.
Looks like a nice product for those weekend get aways. Sorry the sheds didn’t come out that day. Another day I suppose.
Really surprised I didn't stumble on something in the second location. There was lots of sign. Have you been able to get out yet?
@@MinuteontheMountain no. But I plan to hike up the face of the Millville range tomorrow. See if my energy level is stronger than the steepness level.

It didn't feel drafty around my feet, but I did have a blanket on top of my sleeping bag down at my feet because they tend to get cold.
i really like mine ...i have a subaru outback.

I'm curious how was this air mattress in colder weather like that? I know they are usually ambient air which is freezing. Did you sleep on this in cold weather, or was this down around St George, or Vegas?
It was further north, near Nephi. The low that night was 32 or 33 degrees, so cold, but not brutal.

I weigh 185. I've slept on it two nights and didn't see any significant leakage. With more weight, you could be right.
2 nights won't necessarily show anything. 1-2 weeks are what you'll need to check.@@MinuteontheMountain
Tilt the front seat forward.
That would give you more head room for sure. I was able to stretch out without doing that, but if I was a little taller that would definitely be a good idea. Thanks for watching.
