I genuinely love how enthusiastically happy you get when you find something you really like. Your videos are great to pass a few minutes away in a day.
Thanks Greg, Cheese has come so far since the 70's when you only got basically bung from the supermarket. I remember in the 80's here in New Zealand that people were terrified of the new cheeses from overseas, as we'd had import tariffs on them, it was comical as to how people used them in recipes and ate them at home. There were media articles here about how dangerous it was to eat some of these cheeses!!
Perfect French accent, Grego! 😂 Personally I don't want all my cheese to taste of onion, so I'd go for a blander wafer/biscuit, but all of that looked delicioso.
Not sure if youve been to Europe yet, Greg? But youd absolutely love it. The food on offer, the cheeses, the different meats, THE BEER...... You wouldnt want to leave. Great content btw 👍
Just moved to Morningside a couple of weeks ago so will have to check this joint out grego. Also if your in the area again I recommend the Broken Hearts Burger Club. Queue was out the door on a Tuesday night!
I’m ready for a cheese party 🎉 🎊 🎉 🧀 would love to see an ALL AUSTRALIAN real CHEESE video, just love your laid back amazing videos keep them coming. Also would love to see a video on WHAT IS PROCESSED MEATS. THANKS HAVE A GREAT AUSSIE DAY!
should have had some on a slightly toasted baguette. The rustic baguette from Coles bakery, slice it up small pieces and put in a pre-heated oven for a few minutes, then top with creme cheese and salmon, dill and a squeeze of lemon, or pate or yummy cheese, yummo. And Woolies brand sea salt crackers, and the rosemary ones are good.
😂 OMG!... Grego mate!. You go to a cheese shop and spend $40 on some expensive cheeses, knowing full well that in the Australian heat, cheese should be kept chilled. Haven't you got a cooler box in the ute my friend?. Strewth mate, how very un-Australian. 😂😂😂
Excellent review Greg 😄 the epoisses is meant to be served a bit runny at room temperature anyway so it was just right. I put this on my burgers and sometimes steak.. Its a ripper mate ! 😉
The Fromager d'Affinois Triple Cream Brie from Coles is pretty spesh, Grego. Genuine Froggy Brie at a true imported price- $85 a Kilo! There's a double cream one for only $75 a Kilo. Gruyere is a fondue cheese, Grego. Not at $81 a Kilo, though.
People mock the whole "Wine and cheese" idea, but if you like cheese you really should at least try this once. Go halves with someone, there's so much more to cheese than the blocks you get at the supermarket.
5:39 Why is Epoisses cheese illegal? Most of the banned cheeses are illegal in the U.S. due to the use of unpasteurized milk, or raw milk, in their production. The FDA deems these milks a public health concern. Foodborne pathogens can grow and spread; pasteurization is meant to kill off these germs.
Bonjour Greg'o. I'm impressed that you decided on a cheese review, with 3 wonderful flavour cheeses. Sorry but you blew it twice here.. No Red Wine pairing and the last cheese wasn't in any state to be enjoyed at its best. Next time you buy ask what's the best temperature to serve them in, like wine. I'm so glad you didn't buy the Lékraft... A really good review and change from the greasy spoon takeaway usuals. Thanks for posting this review. Cheers old son.
Now you've learned a lesson, Greg, DO NOT STORE WASHED RIND CHEESE IN THE CAR!!! Refrigerate, but leave in kitchen the day before eating. And forget the crackers, just use a slice of baguette. Some of their Charcuterie looks pretty good as well, especially their and rabbit pate saucisson selection.
Wow tres fancy work there GregO and merde, some eye watering prices there... Pretty sure this shop used to have a Red Rooster in it - there or next door... Good story about this couple now having a bricks and mortar joint after pounding the local Brissie markets here for a few years... The guys name is Pierre so already he's a champion bloke...! Their Langres, one of my favourites also and although very strong, pairs particularly well with Pinot Noir for us blokes and even better with champers for the ladies (no getting all PC on me 'ere)... Cheers Gibbo
I’m having a cheesegasm watching this Greg. I feel like going out and getting $50 worth of cheese and just demolishing it lol
Greg I want your thick burrito
Your passion and excitement is infectious!
I genuinely love how enthusiastically happy you get when you find something you really like. Your videos are great to pass a few minutes away in a day.

Perfect!
Cheese is life, so I clicked immediately. But seeing this video is a couple of years old, I wonder if the shop is still there.
This review was a bit cheesy grego 😅
Are you saying that literally or as a joke? And in what way
@@ednaemode5762 He's saying that it's cheesy on the eyes, so just mind your own cheesewax, you should be more cheesygoing..
I knew there’d be a BLUE in the comments

All those cheeses looked v. good. Enjoy Greg!
Cheers
What a change from the supermarket brand cheese! But loving it Greg!
I like the $6kg block cheese from woolies. Its so sophisticated, touch of class.

Baguette, salami, red wine 🍷 I love it when you speak French!

@@GregsKitchen 😂 Good on ya mate.
Le Gruyère cheese is original from Switzerland - the French one is only a copy. Check for Gruyere AOP.

Great backing track grego.
After I saw those prices, I thought someone had taken Greg's body over.
Awesome
I like smoked Gouda and old cheddar. There used to be a kind called Old Nippy and it was cheddar too.
Try a little of quince paste with the more creamer cheeses .
Yummy
Another joint I'll be checking out thanks to Greggo!
Say hi to the frenchman
Grego going up market with some fancy cheese and crackers. Impeccable pronunciation from old mate.

Cheers, cheese was in the car from Brisbane to the Sunny coast, hence the softness
Now you've done the cheese.. How about a small goods review. Check out Backa meats on the Goldie. I just brought a load of Beer Sticks from them.
oooh i love beer sticks!
I love cheeses but I draw the line at gorgonzola. I dare you to try some. 🙂
Monsieur Greggo, le fromage avait l'air délicieux !

Greggo should add that cheese to a $4.95 KFC Double Tender burger. Would really fancy that burger up!
Greg you pronounce it something like, 'apwos', great video :)
Oh thank you!
If you like matured cheese's you should try Esrom... It stinks like a skunk with bad breath and B O but it tastes pretty good.
