Our aim is to share knowledge, practices and experiences, in order to contribute to the built environment and to our communities. Currently we are running the Learn BIØN project, a collaboration to build and share our knowledge across borders. We are 7 partners in 5 european countries, all participating with our specific knowhow for this three year collaboration. Our objectives are: - Improve the access to quality information about Low Impact Building Techniques through our platform, and through actively participating in our local communities. We will document our work an provide open access documents through our website and multinational network. - Increase the skills for construction workers, NEET, migrants, refugees, students, professionals and other adults interested in the topics about Low Impact Building Techniques through workshops. - Increase awareness about Low Impact Techniques on an environmental-, economical-, social and cultural level. - Develop strategies to to maximise participation and generate inclusive communities, by the use of architecture as a tool. Improve the connection between formal and informal learning systems, developing or using existing accreditation systems. - Improve standards of natural and recycled materials use in building, by integrating the building legislation of each country and discuss possibilities with stakeholders, councils and communities. El pison tiene que ser de madera, mas grande y mayor peso ...lo que compacta es el peso del pizon en su caída.
La tierra ...la que tengas en el sitio....agua se rocía un poco cuando hayan colocado la tierra en el tapial, antes de compactar .. ....traten de buscar videos españoles o peruanos....en otros lares están reinventando esta técnica que es muy sencilla!!

Hola me encanta, saludos desde Argentina, tengo munchas preguntas al respecto jajajaja la primera que me viene a la cabeza es que sucede cuando llueve, o con la humedad, requiere algun acabado exterior? requiere refuerzo estructural para el techo? Me gustaria construir con esta tecnica pero aqui no hay experiencias cosntructivas al respecto. Saludos

Yo vivo en Andalucia en una gran casa de tapiales de más de 250 años. Luce como nueva con su mantenimiento. Los muros son de 65 cm de anchos. Es un búnker. En verano a 45 grados fuera, no necesitamos ni aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador. Creo que puede durar otros 200 años más si la vamos manteniendo

The cost of the foundation is 90% of the total cost. So they could have built the walls using any other method for roughly the same cost.
Wrong! The cost of the stone foundation wasn't so high! And even like this...what about the environmental cost?
@@lucilecouvreur4110 Rammed earth walls are more expensive than masonry and other techniques because the foundations have to be wider, deeper under ground, and have to extend farther above the grade than other foundations. I dont know why you are in denial about this.
@@RealisiticEdgeModIn this case, the rammed earth walls were really cheap, because they were built with a group of volunteers / trainees in the framework of a course. We only had to pay the material for the formworks and rammers, and the earth and sand. In case if would have been done by a building company, of course it would have been much more expensive. Rammed earth is indeed more expensive than conventional brick or cement concrete walls. We never pretend the contrary...
@@lucilecouvreur4110 You miss the point. This structures of rammed earth are being promoted as a way to cheapen the building of homes from conventional methods. In the end it is the cost and practicallyti that wins over any "wishy washy" simple minded-well meaning-back packing -anti establishment-socialist pseudo hippies dilussional ideals .
these pseudo-socialist hippies are not interested in logic or math. You see, they only want to live in a delusional world of their own. They can't come up with solutions so their idea of making the world a better place is to destroy what other generations have created.
