Expected scope of Okra in 2025 || Crop Reformer

Okra is an important vegetable crop of Punjab. Under the scenario of changing climate, planting of okra may be initiated from the 10th of February in south Punjab to the 20th of February in the central Punjab. Green beauty of Haji sons, Super green of National Seeds Gujranwala, Adventa 803 of ICI, OH 2324 of Syngenta, No 333 of Hope seeds and wonder green of Siddique sons Faisalabad are considered as the best varieties. Sabz Pri, the OP variety, is only planted by the small farmers. Selection of variety is one of the major factors on which the production of crops depends. There are several conventional and hybrid varieties of Okra available in the market. Choosing the best one to cultivate is a major decision for getting better production of okra. The production technology of okra is now dependent on the selection of the best variety. Nowadays, hybrid types are available and advertised vastly. These varieties have their unique characters and become economical due to their higher production rate as compared to previous conventional ones. The production technology of this crop will be discussed in the next few videos soon. Okra curry is one of the famous vegetables sold in our local markets and is known as a delicious food almost all over this region. It is also rich in several nutrients needed for our health. It is a metabolism-boosting vegetable. It is one of the foods that increase metabolism. Its health benefits are countless. The production technology of vegetables is evolving with the passage of time. Induction of new machinery provides us sustainable production through the year.
