This will be a sad world without human interaction

I think what a lot of people don’t understand is that for some of us, we get a lot of human interaction at our jobs all day long, and we just want a few moments to ourselves. Not everyone works from home or on a computer all day. My husband and I both work in education and take care of kids all day, plus we are constantly bombarded with family and “friends” who can’t seem to take care of themselves without us holding their hands all day, and all we are asking for is a little time to decompress. I agree that we need human interaction, but we don’t need it 24/7. That’s not good for anyone, either.

People don't realize whats happening...our social structure is almost non-existent...I appreciate the fact that I lived in the 80s and 90s....this world has become so sad

"Non-existent social structure"? Sounds like heaven. Because the human species is nothing but a giant irritant.

0:28..."Sometimes you don't want to leave your house...but to be able to leave your house and not get out the car helps." Looks like she needs to be TRYING to get out of the house. And not in a car. Maybe on a bike. Or using her feet.

"You don't really appreciate a person until you've see them." No, man. When I see a person..that is when I STOP appreciating them. People are annoying. And you know it. Bring on the high-tech (people-absent) drive thru's.

Note McDonald's absent from this discussion. In my area no innovation in fact they are now MUCH slower than before by parking everyone at the drive thru, and then bringing your order out 10 minutes later. No doubt I no longer go there and more business for those who get the orders right and faster.

I live in NYC and most, if not all, of the McDonald's here are super fast. It's all kiosks, mobile app ordering for pickup, and little to no seating. Not many drive-thrus though, but a lot of of foot traffic

Indeed at my location they take like 20-25 mins to serve you on the drive thru

Let's get some things straight and clear. This is mainly happening in suburban areas. This would never happen at a popular scale in urban areas as many of the urban residents don't own a car and rely solely on public transportation and walking. Dining will always be popular in the urban areas.

Get rid of these teenagers and lazy workers that skimp on all your orders of fries, missing food items, and giving attitude. I rather have a robot making my food than humans.

Give me a break. The level of hatred and vitriol from Savannah, Al, and Craig, and whoever the guy is doing the story, is just disgusting. First of all, we are getting a drink with less sugar because we are very serious about our physical health. It has nothing to do with being judged. Wow. Listen, we are going to continue loving ourselves and taking care of our wellbeing, regardless of if no one else loves us. I’m so tired of this crap. Y’all are becoming so incredibly rude, which is exactly why I am starting to watch more and more of CBS Mornings. They treat people with respect over there. Unbelievable.

For me the issue is getting the deals. If I order online I can see the deal and pay for it.......I gave Subway a two year break from going there because EVERYTIME I was told the 'deal' I didn't get because of this reason or that reason. I went again yesterday and once again they tried to charge me more than the deal advertisd because of some technicality. I was so, so sick of it I said I would leave it behind. Guess what? I got the deal price.
