Except that operatic symphonic progressive goth power metal has been an established genre in Europe for more than 25 years and is by now THE most popular genre of rock music in Europe, South America and the Far East. Great as Blackbriar is,- and one of my personal favorite bands too,- they´re nothing new. Zora just has an amazing voice and a very personal hauntingly disturbing artistic world view,- sort of like Kate Bush gone dark goth and metal.
