Imagine something like Lego dimensions where you build a whole town or something and then import it into your world
Cool concept except it’d be way more expensive irl, legos r expensive, whereas these kits in game are about around 20 dollars each. If they made sets like these, it’d range up to hundreds of dollars. Basically you’re spending waaayyy more.
These are the things i expected from a major update, not the item shop
Expect new creatures, items, toys & free builds. Let them profit bc so far they aren’t gonna profit if they don’t have their own things to sell.

@@notgabriel8624 yeah they don’t, Fortnite makes money off of skins & the normal cosmetics we’ve seen, Fortnite festival makes their bucks off of festival passes, rocket racing makes theirs off of cars, and Lego Fortnite doesn’t sell anything, all the lego styles r free, the gamemode is free, and while epic games is making loads off of Fortnite as a whole, each game mode has their own set of devs, so you need to make more buck to pay &/or hire more devs for those game-modes, each game has to have something to sell, at least in epic games logic, & it’s just cosmetic so I’m fine with this. As long as it’s not pay to win content.
@@custommizerOG that’s for Fortnite br (mainly) each new game mode has their own set of devs, and each need to find a way to make their profits, bc epic games won’t cover it all, which is why save the world died & became free bc not many were purchasing the game mode, not making profit & weren’t sustainable to keep updating it.
Fortnite festival has festival pass, rocket racing has cars to sell, Fortnite br has what we already know, but Lego Fortnite isn’t selling anything up until now.
A digital code in a physical set would be much better.

20 dollars for these structures is a bang for your buck & im saying this as a lego collector bc these builds would never sell for 20 or even 40 dollars.

@@KwikBR those r already gonna happen. Just not gonna be using codes to get them bc that’s shut it out to ppl who only are into legos (mostly). Which is a smaller margin of ppl than just putting them in the item shop.
Its a cool corn to but only really for maybe rare events like with how Fortnite did with minty pickaxes from GameStop. But only on occasions it should be done, imo.

These “sets” cost 2,000 V-Bucks. That’s WAY too much. I think it’s dumb to lock this kinda of stuff behind a paywall, but it’s even dumber to have them be so expensive.
I worried about Lego Fortnite if this becomes the norm and all new buildings are locked behind an expensive paywall.

@@imstupidbut as sucky as it sounds for creative players, consider it as like dlc like content or packs. sadly that’s how it’s gonna be, so if you’re a Lego Fortnite player that enjoys the building creativity aspect then get ready to pay up, but form the likes of it, everyone that has expressed their interest in Lego Fortnite building have been pretty excited for the most part, it’s the vocal majority of ppl who don’t care abt the game mode that for some reason care abt this situation.

honestly something seems to be working cause it’s seem epic is still getting a big return on the only 5 people still playing fortnite despite its massive downfall in players, the item shop has been ruined by lego fortnite which is more than obvious as it’s catered to those last 5 people, despite the community universal hating the item shop it seems Epic will not back down cause the lego skins must be making them a fortune, look at last week and they left the lego hot dog skin for like 5 days!!!

I think what may be a better way to do this whole kit thing is to sell them in the shop BUT if they make actual physical Fortnite Lego sets, those should include a code that lets you use that build in Lego FN
And for those that don't want to buy the actual Lego sets, can buy the kits in the shop
Why not just add these things to the game as normal updates rather than forcing people to buy things to be creative

There's no way I'm buying some lego kits that are the same price as a legendary skin that can be used in every game mode..I liked lego fortnite but if I'm being honest it wasn't something amazing to begin with but now putting building behind a paywall I wouldn't be surprised if it lost more players than it already did
I feel like if you were actually trying to pull this off you should've put a building set in the battle pass to give players a taste.
But also 2000 v bucks for a lego set is way to much especially for people who don't play lego fortnite that often compared to casual players.
Something that I think would also make players consider buying the sets after the prices are lowered is if it was a emote of your character building the set out of Legos in Battle Royal.

El porcentaje de gente descontenta con esta actualización es gigante. Y no es que sea una mala actualización, es que NO llega en un buen momento: Lego Fortnite está completamente lleno de bugs. Entiendo que el equipo de desarrollo ha de estar trabajando contra las cuerdas y los Kits son lo que tocaba en este momento a nivel de negocio, pero solo hay que ver la lista de comentarios de este vídeo para saber que algo no va bien.
