hi & welcome to my first mashup since semi-retirement (i announced this in the community tab if you missed it). this mix didn't need to be made, but for the first time in months or longer i had fun making a concept so i'm sorry and/or you're welcome.
i'm making absolutely zero commitments as to when i'll post again. for the first time in months or longer i genuinely enjoyed making a concept so i'll be back if/when i get the feeling again or when the proclaimers release another banger. whichever comes first.

In that time I've graduated high school, gone to college, dropped out because the school sucked, got engaged, worked as a restaurant manager, and now I'm going back to school to be an engineer. Bunch has happened in these 5 years, but I'm still always excited to see a notification for this channel.

My brain initially refused to process this mashup as a concept, but I still clicked on it because curiosity got the best of me. Then the first chorus hit and I laughed my fool head off because the way they pair together is ridiculously brilliant. XD

I didnt know you went into retirement but honestly I'm glad you did!!! The recent work you were making didnt feel like it had the same spark some of your older peices did. They were still great of course but you know lol. I can really hear the difference between one you had fun with vs not. And I'm so so so supportive of the idea of you only posting when inspiration hits!
i could def tell when i was mixing & finalizing some of the more recent stuff that y'all would be able to hear my heart wasn't in it. i made a mix of christina x papa roach and that's when i really realized that i possibly needed to take a step back.
and then my laptop broke and i HAD to take a step back LOL
