Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) are investing heavily in mutual funds through SIP and supporting the small cap and mid cap space. HSBC Small Cap Fund focuses on small cap companies financials, corporate governance and strength of management to pick stocks for their portfolio. It does a thorough research and actually interacts with the company management to get an understanding of the company before investing in its stocks. You must have a 3-5 year holding period with Large and Mid Cap Funds. Rule No 1 is Always continue your SIPs and Rule No 2 is Never Break Rule No 1.

Also I don't know why Groww is launching a Smallcap 250 index fund when there are so many smallcap 250 index funds available in the market. Why not Smallcap 250 Quality Momentum 100? This is a unique product. NSE also launched an index Mid&Small 400 Quality Momentum 100. Why not launch these interesting products? These fund houses are so afraid That they can't beat these passive funds in the long term. That is why they are not launching these strategic index funds.
He is saying basically for a 1st time investor, Add 15 categories of funds. This is so frustrating when these fund managers don't give proper guidance and try to sell products on these podcasts.

I use ETmoney and able to get same day NAV. Only thing to remember try to purchase before 1-2 PM ( officially 3 PM)
