Brown Bag Lunch: Laura Davidson Sears Art Gallery at the Elgin Academy - 100 Years with Ann Chipman

The Beaux Arts-style Sears Gallery opened in 1924 as a donation from Judge Nathaniel and Laura Sears. It was Elgin's first art museum and recital hall, and a significant part of Elgin Academy's campus. In this video, Ann Chipman will present a fascinating history of the building and the art collection to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
