BTW the Vulcan ball sucks. Goes out of round after 2 hrs of play
Maybe I got a good batch but I haven't had a single one go out of round yet. They also last 5-ish hours of play compared to duras where you are lucky to get 2 hours.
Vulcan should pull their ball off the market until they develop a usable ball. Currently it’s a joke. It’s embarrassing to see KOTC recommend this ball to their views. Makes me skeptical for all the other sponsored products they recommend. Jimmy, do the right thing and dump the Vulcan ball until they fix it.
Jimmy, you are right to wonder if anybody cares about MLP. Nobody does. I want to, but I realize now that they may be a kind of business zombie. There was always a discussion about how they were going to make any money because they don’t run amateur events and now I’m sure the fans are gone. They’re screwed.
I wonder if you guys would talk about the silence of top players when it comes to the outstanding issues as the pro sport has zero momentum and looks like it’s sinking. Jilly B is kooky but at least she is making an effort with the collective (whatever that is).
Calling it now. APP is the tortoise to PPA/MLP's hare. They just slowly plod along and do what they do well. They are moving into the exact markets mentioned in the pod: College and international. This will make them much more attractive to sponsors. Viewership and goodwill will continue to erode for PPA/MLP. The money and big name pros will follow.

@@Mr.Martini549 of course this is true but attendance at US tournaments will be a drop in the bucket once Asia comes online. Whoever is best positioned to take advantage of that will have the most leverage against the other tours.
Totally agree. They are focused on things that will grow their business and are not putting all their eggs in the US pro pickleball basket.
I agree; APP is the dark horse that could eat PPA and MLP for lunch by year end.

Yes. They have a big warranty. Guaranteed to go out of round within two games or your money back.

I voted for you guys first and picklepod second. I don’t know if something in your studio changed but I’m noticing an echo. Your room is a little too lively. You need to deaden it with some acoustic panels. Picklepod has better acoustics .
Also, I just sold my Ronbus R1 pulsar to a Pickleball buddy. I cleaned it with the reset solution, and it looked brand new.

Totally agree with Jimmy, MLP, if they’re the ones responsible for the foot dragging to finish the merger, are killing the momentum of their brand.
Also, the audio issues with the Drew Brees interview were self inflicted b/c Drew kept on dropping his mic too low and we couldn’t hear him. Perhaps clip on lapel mics next time? 😉

I think there's around 100 players that care greatly if the merger goes through... maybe a few fans too.

I'm sooooo sick of MLP. They are truly the CRAP show of PB. PPA could have crushed them in the beginning, but out of the spirit of PB, allowed for them to survive. Then like the dogs they are, they tried to bite the PPA's hand and started the whole wild wild west player land grab (NOT started by the PPA but MLP). They keep acting like they have something special. I have and will continue to say, Let MLP fail, go into bankruptcy and whatever that entails. PPA just go with Vibe and do three to four events a season. PB doesn't need or care about MLP. We do care about the Pro's and want to see the Pro's happy, healthy and compensated but come on, Pro's can't play 75 (JK) events a season between PPA and MLP!! Let MLP crash and burn. Do away the owners but keep teams. Allow for Pro's to own part of the event(s) and pay them based on a revenue sharing model so they are part of the solution. Play PPA events to earn points based on play and outcome. Top 12 men and women form 6 teams, and allow for a captains pick, so teams have spares and as players move up and down in PPA standings, teams have options to keep or trade. Come on....Let's make this FUN!!!!

From an addicted Pickleball player to someone who’s been to a PPA tournament and an MLP tournament . I have to say MLP is much more enticing to go watch because you can literally watch every player within tiny little radius where all the courts are
PPA events are all the same crap,
