I've slowly been picking up on playing flamenco and I found just sitting on the couch just grab the guitar and go through the motions whole muting the strings and in a few weeks your right hand will be like a machine. Thanks for the video and great advice!
I have been practicing the techniques you have been sharing, I'm nowhere close to how you do it, but it is getting better and I've been trying it out on steel string and it sounds good not quite the same. Thanks for the lesson . Your comments on turning the wrist to get fast and the slap reminded me of the Wille Dixon slap bass . All the films show him slapping the double bass but listen to the music and he rolls his wrist to get that rolling slap bass sound . Bassoligy would be the online example . I know he stole the idea from somewhere but until now never made the connection .

This can be used as a complete strumming technique too. But yes you can connect it with other strumming techniques.
