You gotta give much respect to Dana White for being able to keep his personal & professional views separate from each other about fighters. It's something that I'm still working on in my life. It seems difficult to do for most people but Dana proves he has this characteristic handled.

Appreciate Dana's honesty. Obviously Dela Hoya has burned some bridges and deserves the fallout and animosity. Dela Hoya used to be a reputable guy but he's turned into a Don King wannabe. He's chasing the almighty dollar!!! Sad to see what he's becoming. Dana and Ryan should talk. Canelo is on point and he exposed Dela Hoya just like Dana. This thing will come to a head at some point. I remember meeting Oscar in the 90's while he was standing alone waiting to sign photos at the old NSGA Sporting Goods Supershow. He was so small it kind of startled me. I would have never seen him as a promoter or some flashy guy with Ferrari's and a woman with a near life size tattooed of him on her back.

Say what you want about Dana personally but I agree with him on Oscar. Dude wants to come out and try to jeapordise what ended up being the second biggest PPV ever purely to satisfy what was left of boxings hardcore fans, but then says he himself would fight Conor which would also technically be a 'disgrace to boxing' as he puts it. Make it make sense. What's funny about that, is in todays world of influencer boxing etc it's gone even further towards the 'disgrace to boxing' side so what was it all even for? But I can say myself, that if someone I was cool with and had done favours for came out and publicly shat on something I was involved in and trying to make as big as I possibly could, I wouldn't really be cool with them anymore. Not to even mention someone who then tried using a personal friend against me (Chuck vs Tito 3) to pump up the narrative that I don't pay my fighters etc. So yeah, I agree with Dana here.
