  • Welcome to the 163rd episode of CASH GAME PUNTS!
This series features recent highlights from my previous Twitch streams playing Rush and Cash Poker on GGPOKER.
Calling Ace High on the River because you think your opponent is bluffing is a very subtle art. Hand reading is the defining skill to pull it off.
And it feels sooooo good when you're right!

Hey bro, why are you always surprised that people with medium strength hands choose not to be aggressive? In this video I'm talking about the hand A-9вс10-7... from the opponent's side: which hand is worse than a 10-high flush to bet on the river and call a raise? On a paired board. I understand that there are such hands - weaker flushes, but will there be so many of them to compensate for higher flushes or even rare full houses like queen-king and queen-three?
If we really understand the hand: on the turn, your opponent should bet a lot of flush draws(let it be 80% of all of them), so on the closed flush river we will have an advantage in the nuts in the BB, which means we can overbet on the river, and not 75% of the pot.

Hey Paul loving the content. Out of curiosity how many buy ins would you say is a good amount to play these stakes and at what stage do you think it is good to move up?

50 absolute minimum bro, and have a shot take once you've hit 40 buy ins profit.

Cash game 100BI or more. A little more aggessive bankroll management would be 50BI but I would always aim for 100BI+

I would recommend to jump quicker in the absolute micros NL2 - NL10 as the level of play is basically the same.

100 is way too nitty imo, maybe if you’re grinding leaderboards on rush and cash but I would play regular tables and play with less buyins; like maybe 30 and shot take when you hit 17-20 buyins. You want to get out of the micros as fast as possible. Obv study aswell

@@Kaykayyyy2212 100BI is not much when you multi tables. Lots of players will play 2-4 tables at the same time so you’re risking a lot more BI at once
      100BI is a standard
30BI was valid in 2004 but not in 2024
