  • By piling, gluing, taping, or drawing over a photograph with imaginary components, Charles and Ray used images to convey an idea and to test how a physical change would look before employing a great deal of effort and resources.     I’ve been wondering about the dark black circle (hole?) above the entry in the panels you reference at the end of the video. Is it a graphic element indicating the entrance? Does it serve a further function beyond acting as a sign and point of visual contrast?
