I received the reel yesterday 120 EUR on Ali Express. I have tested it yesterday for 4 hours and it was simply enjoying every cast. No backlashes while casting 3.5g+2“Trailer 20m, 5g+3“Trailer 27m and 7g 32m. Spool works perfect with the magnets. Breaking set on 3-4 all the time with 4 strands braided line 0.1 mm diameter. Most underrated reel I have eher seen. I guess it will kill some of my Shimano 200 EUR+ reels in performance. Greetings from Germany - Tight Lines 🙌
Hi! I ordered yesterday same reel from Aliexpress. I hesitated between this and Daiwa Tatula 80. Finally I bought this one with 8,1:1 gear ratio. So, do you recommend that reel? It was a good choice?

Having casted it for a while and giving it a good workout not happy.
It's not bad but way overpriced and the manufacturer has missed the mark No drag clicker, no spool tension clicker, noisy bearings and the thumbar release sometimes makes a full clunk , not a positive click.
It casts well and has an awesome drag , but definitely over priced, doesn't feel A grade ,bits not buttery smooth.
For the record I'm no mug have been using baitcaster for years and have over 10 Bfs reels.
Bid miss for me and very annoyed I even bought it as had high expectations.
Man I’ve been Fishing for over 4 Decades and love my Baitcasting Reels and carry my Spinning Reel with me in case I need a quick follow up or the Fishing is tough and “Drop Shot” time. It seems the “BFS” Casting Reel is the new Money maker for Companies now and a waste of both time and Money and a Marketing Term to sell more Reels, you “Finesse” a 3/8 and 1/2 ounce Texas Rig. It’s so much easier to switch to a sissy stick that’s already rigged then swap a spool and re-tie. I use light Tackle every time I go out on my Baitcasters but always have the Spinning ready. I use the Curado bfs paired on the Curado light 7’2 light and let me tell you, it’s a total game changer!
I believe a all-round long caster is a better description for this reel. Or a casual BFS.
you should use braided line to get the maximum casting distance when fishing using bfs. mono line has line memory so it can blow up when the spool slowing down in the end of casting

Looks to be perfect for 1/8 to 1/4 oz jighead, just what I need. If I can sell my Aldebaran probably would buy one.
Selling Shimanos have never been a problem for me.

I wonder what dream tackle’s deal is with Okuma since this reel has the same frame as the Hakai. This reel looked totally different compared to the past Okuma reels. I wonder if it’s their own design since you know it’s kinda the same situation here with Doyo and Lew’s.
Not positive on this reel, but remember, these are made in communist china where they steal everything and remake and sell them sometimes even with the same name or slightly different like “Shishano” or “Daiawa”
@@davidcloyd1296 I mean, dream tackle has worked with Okuma and this is a dream tackle reel. I doubt this is stolen I just wonder who came up with the design & frame of the reel. Thanks for the input have a great day!
