Just picked up Reforger and been having a blast. As a new player I just tell my squad I am new and EVERY time I do someone offers to help me if I have questions. Overall people are welcoming making the experience much easier to learn the ropes.
Great that big youtubers are starting to get on reforger, finally a chance for better mods and better servers and players. but it would be nice to see them play vanilla.
I love this server/community the VC are hilarious. The people who run it are constantly updating it and taking community feedback for which things to add remove.
@@SteelOnyxYT so we didn’t make that mod but we do use some of the assets as dependencies, I’m responsible for all the PAVN helmets and uniforms and some of the US kit
I dont watch many gaming channels but i love this one Moidawg handsdown has the best channel for squad,its informative and funny but if we had more people like squad gamers and moidawg other games would be fun but definately i find squad has just a better group of people,I'll put it like this when i play squad i feel part of,when i play war thunder i feel like i slept with a old prostitute and lost some brain cells😂

I have also recently got into Reforger and damn it's fun. it's much more immersive than Squad, to be honest, with all those little complexities to medical system (you cant just take a bandage and revive a downed one, you have to apply it to correct body part, use sailings if a person lost too much blood, and inject morphine to wake them up), logistics one, even things like using a compass or talking to other squads via radio and so on, also the visuals overall and map size and design. btw, as you've probably noticed your AK is zeroed to 440m which is BZ, battle zero. it means you have to aim for the belt and you'll be able to land shots in the torso between 100-400m range. so, if you need a more accurate shot you have to appropriately zero it to 100/200/... meters. vehicles also play much more interestingly, driving is actually fun in this game. all of this combined I really enjoy it and consider laying Squad down for some more time, and possibly starting a new server for CI Squad clan, which I am a part of, though those are just thoughts out loud for now
Can you do a video on how you set up for arma? As a current squad player who never played Arma, I’d love a walkthrough video from the perspective of someone who isn’t too deep in the sauce with Arma. They tend to skip over details that new players don’t understand.

Game 3 crashed after 15m hiking to link up with unit. My system is squared away. Could try a fresh install i suppose but tbh its not worth the time to mess with it. So many other games out there.

Lots of people go towards things like milsim clans, or private servers. If you're looking for intense pvp/pve...look for a milsim group and they'll help you get access to servers.
