It's sickening how some of these haters are also some of the people who squeals and screams whenever their idols of the same gender are doing skinship, even being the ones who ask for them to do such, but if there are idols who are brave enough to reveal who they really are, they'd start throwing hate at them as if it's the worst thing they have ever done.

With the amount of skinship that the kpop culture does, it's obvious we're gonna have a lot of gay couples. And I'm sure that it's much more than we have ever thought. Team sports show us how intimacy and too much contact make people fall in love with eachother haha

It's... not kpop culture, it's literally just Korean culture. Korean people are comfortable with skinship partly BECAUSE they don't ever interpret touches among members of the same sex as romantic or sexual. That stems from homophobia, of course. And that in and of itself makes your point incorrect: Koreans are used to a lot of intimacy in their personal friendships. It's not going to make them fall in love with each other any more than they would regularly do. It requires a same-sex attraction as a prerequisite, not just... you being very close and comfortable with your friend.

And that straight people will keep being straight regardless, but there are much more queer people in the world than people would like to admit.

    • @Rana_93
      @Rana_93 3 роки тому +20

You just have to use some logical and think: why korea forbid the press to leak gay couples or gay content? They exist and they're are afraid to make people know about that and you too just believe their censored press. They aren't exception when we're talking about our animal instincts. Straight people will be straight regardless, but touchy cultures help other sexualities to figure themselves out, it's logical and obvious.

Religion has created a deep repulsion for homosexuality within religious people. They take it literally as God's word (though it was written and altered by humans thus should be read with discernment rather than blind belief) which is why their belief is unshakable and their hatred (which they believe is love because they believe they're "saving us" from "sin" and "h*ll") flows seemingly without end. It creates this twisted scenario where they believe they are doings God's work by repressing and hating on the lgbtqi+ community. Please do not take any of their vitriol personally or take it to heart. I know it is hard and stings and cuts deep but you deal with their twisted hatred by learning to love yourself just as you are and shine brighter than before, learning to live unapologetically as yourself. You sit tenderly with your pains and where society showed you cruelty and hatred, you show yourself love and tenderness. Self-love is truly the greatest gift you can give yourself especially when society meets you with disdain.

Attitudes on gays in SK lag those of areas of the global community most predisposed to absorb K Pop. It is sad that a nation which has transformed itself from poor to an economic powerhouse over a couple generations struggles to handle the idea that comportment and fundamental human rights are not equivalent. Stripping an individual of the right to participate equally within a society by deeming human characteristics as inherently antisocial is an antiquated concept which hopefully SK will grow out of. God bless each of the pioneers who will suffer but in the end may be namelessly transformative to a society not fully prepared to accept 21st century values.

When seeing this video and others similar, I lost my temper. Loving someone is not a sin. I started to share this video and my reasoning as to why we need to view this video. I'm an ARMY fan of HYBE's group BTS. When becoming part of a large fandom base, I noticed how we as fans contribute a lot of hate by shipping a member(s) in a group. We choose members in a group to ship because some want them to be intimate with one another to satisfy their self-gratification of love. Some just don't and will make videos to enjoy, support, and love them for their artistry. When fans ship their biases, in my opinion, they are also drawing others to make negative comments such as what Be Boss TV talks about in this video because of homophobia. Fans' imaginations cross the lines of who our biases should be with, or even thinking that these idols will marry them if they propose to them. These artists received countless death threats or physical and mental harm. In South Korea, there are no laws to protect those who are Gay and in the LGBTQ communities but here are those fans shipping them. Fans of Idol/Artists are part of the blame for reckless discriminate hate caused by shipping. This includes analysis of members without knowing they are part of the blame. The above video is real; suicide is the highest among celebrities in South Korea; remember that. Not only is suicide the highest among celebrities, but this country is also ranked #4 worldwide 28.6% of people die out of 100K people. If you care so much about Kpop, you will consider what a real fan will do to support these groups or solo artists. This includes all who take part in the Entertainment industry in South Korea and other countries. I thank BeBoss for bringing awareness about what it is like for those who are gay in the industry and hope others will share their opinions and this BeBoss TV video.

Your blaming fans but what about the role idols and their companies play in being apart of the problem when it comes to drawing negative comments towards idols if people think their gay, their the ones doing the skinship for fan service and the company usually encourages it especially 3rd gen kpop, skinship was so heavily pushed for fan service it practically became soft core porn onstage so likes not act like it’s just all fans, fans want it cause they give it to them and then they continue to want it all the while being homophobes at the idea of idols being lgbtq+ for real so is the problem really fans shipping or is it the ignorance bigotry and homophobia of the people who want skinship and homoerotics but how dare an idol be gay for real, it’s ridiculous hold idols and the companies accountable in the role they play like you do the fans if you want someone to blame, they can’t have their cake and eat to oh giving fans homoerotic skinship but then get angry when they ship them romantically or think their gay, they can’t have it both ways, that’s not how it works

Lmao D.I.P members completely rick rolled us. I didn't expect that. I was laughing so hard. Like they've been together for long time and we didn't even realize 😂😂😂
Also, how did their love life affect their careers? They performed well and made good music 💀

The ironic part of kpop culture is that the boy bands of South Korea, by American standards, would probably be deemed highly feminine and presumed gay......for some anyway.
As a gay man myself...i always thought they were really soft on the eyes.😔 ijs

Sometimes, I think, Idols are becoming a product over being people. And this is horrible.
That comment about 'fans wasting money for the two to just be dating instead of giving fans music' really upsetted me

It would be cool if MNH, the company Chung-ha is at, could take in some of the idols who are on this list. Chung-ha's company uses dancers who are apart of the LGBTQIA+ community. Maybe they would be more open minded than other companies.
Or maybe an American label that works with Asian artists could sign them.
It would be a cool project to start a whole group full of Asian artists, who were rejected from other companies, that are in the community.

It is never wreckless to be true to yourself & be who you are, regardless of a career. You only have 1 life to live & it can't be spent living it how others tell you to or think you should.

Untill and unless someone hurt my feelings I don't hate them. So why should I hate LGBTQ community if anyone of them doesn't hurt my feelings , they are just born as a human with uniqueness thoughts and talents .We lived in an advanced technology ,green & gene revolution going on ,we should accept them with respect and love no matter which gender we're born from God's love is beyond eternal. FORGIVENESS, LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, HUMBLENESS makes you a wonderful person.

Hahahha fans love shipping members but when they do start actually dating or when fans realized they weren't acting or something, they criticize them. Lol. What a mindset.

It doesn't make sense that they "ship" them and love "skinship" between the members, but won't support them if they are actually gay. That is f***** up!!

I'm thankful for everyone speaking out and those brave enough to live out in the open.
You place everything on the line to come out in Korea. Your livelihood, safety and dreams.
This is why we should place no company or artist on a pedestal because there are so many celebrities who are homophobic and bully their fellow artists behind the scenes and in front of the cameras they put on a fake front.
I'm so proud of everyone fighting for human rights who have to face extreme backlash. They are the real idols.
Just remember there are so many fans and allies who love and support your art as well as your right to love who you want.
Thank you so much for covering this topic it's such an important issue that needs to be addressed.
