I have a couple of theories about that. We see a lot of horror and a lot of adventure. But when they first enter the fantasy section, they don't show a lot. We see mother goose and Humpty Dumpty, and the dragon. But I feel that section had a lot of potential that was either edited out at the last minute or changed because of something else. Most movies are cut for time or content.
      "Look, it's Mother Goose!"
      "Hey guuurrrrlll!'
      Love that line. Hahaha.

MaCauley Kevin Home Alone Culkin is one great young brilliant fantastic very good Actor.
He becomes the Characters he plays in all films he is in and he dosnt waste no time.
I mean just look at what he did to those poor Wet Bandits.
If you want a full proof home security system just call Kevin to get full instructions and everything you need to keep out those Wet Bandits.
Christopher Loyed I'm a great fan of from when I first seen him in the old television classic series TAXI.
Page Master is and always will be a real true classic film.
I was also hoping to see where the Dragon came from.
Look at the year this film was out and think now with all the brilliant great fantastic Computer CGI Special effects graffics up to date in 3 D.
If this was made with all of that and a very young Boy look alike for Young MaC.
It would be a smash hit.

This part of the movie, inside the tower, has always felt like such a magical moment to me. The long journey, filled with danger and fear, has come to an end. And what the Pagemaster says is true, what good would a book be if you just skipped straight to the ending? You`d miss out on so much, characters, what they go through throughout the story and all the emotions that there is to experience. I think that might be what has made me love reading books so much. Be it both fantasy or books based on historic events.

or be careful of the weather and stay away from libraries. aside from that, the pagemaster was a A-hole, probably was bored the entire time and wanted to mess with someone and luckily 1 kid shows up that could go missing while nobody else was in that library "exit is somewhere around here but you gotta do three things before that and you might also die so get to it". wonder what would happen if he failed any of them.

A few points of continuity that implies that Richard's adventure wasn't "just a dream"...
At the start of the movie when he first slips on the floor, he was wearing his yellow jacket. Here, at the end, it's nowhere to be found (he shucked it off after the green paint had dripped on it).
The obvious one: Adventure, Fantasy, and Horror fall down with him and are still lying next to him when he wakes up.
His library card is in very rough shape. Considering he'd gotten it relatively recently, that really shouldn't be possible.
And one that's probably just a slight oversight, but I'm still counting it: his body is positioned so his head is about 2 to 3 degrees closer to N on the compass than when he first slipped.

a cynical mind would say the pagemaster endangered a young child, but that ignores the entire journey and the growth he had on his way to accomplish a goal.
as another wise figure once said "Wisdom is never granted, it must be EARNED. sometimes at a cost"
for Richard his adventure and the dangers he faced helped him to build up his courage so that he can return to the real world inspired to be better, such is the power of storytelling, be it a book, a game, or from word of mouth, a story can inspire one to be the best version of themselves.
had the pagemaster brought him to the exit, Richard would still be the same as he was when the adventure started, he would have gained nothing to bring back with him to reality

I just realized: This is the 1990s version of The Wizard of Oz except they literally wrote in a comeback for those snooty critics that ask "Why didn't the wizard/witch just bring the protagonist to where they're supposed to go?" the answer is at 2:08. Even then, this is still a decent movie.

I'm gonna tell you guys a story about a bad movie experience I had and how James Horner's music helped me through the ordeal and get untraumatized.
I had a traumatic movie experience with 4 movies. The first movie was The Stepfather (2009), the trailer traumatized me cause I thought Amber Heard's character was gonna die but when I watched the movie she didn't. Then it was Hostel Part II the part where Bijou Phillips' character was tortured, then Us (2019) the Tyler's deaths scene and finally It Came From The Desert the swimsuit striptease scene. As a result of watching these 4 movies I was afraid to watch new movies but then I mustered the courage to watch Watership Down and to my surprise it didn't traumatize me like the four movies did and my confidence was restored. Then one fateful night I had a nightmare with Us. After I woke up I became obsessed with Us and I wanted to watch it again and I was thinking about it, I imagined James Horner's music in my head and so I rewatched the four movies and conquered my fears. After this I was no longer traumatized by the four movies.
