Rishi Sunak is going for the oil. His father in laws tech company infosys has already been awarded the £1.5 billion contract to extract the gas from the area. This is the main reason why he as Prime Minister will not call for a ceasefire! Because his family will miss out on £1.5 Billion! Conflict of interest much?
I was wondering when someone else would mention this one.
Right. And also figure in that Biden & his goons most likely blew up the Nord Stream pipeline. Now the US is shipping gas to Europe at a higher price..Looks like there's more of a market for Palestin'es oil & gas.@@lydiaa4344

This report on Gazan off-shore gas field sheds a new light on the current Palestinian issue. Unless Palestine obtains its statehood, Palestinians will probably dwindle and face extinction. By then, all the gas will belong to US and Israel. It's a sad story.
There's also some gas and oil under the West Bank.
The irony. The Palestinians are sitting on a gold mine whilst they live in deprived conditions. Highway robbery before our very eyes.
@@crazywhistles7280 more future Israeli annexed territory
@@user-dp1bt9ql2m Israel's been illegally occupying most of the West Bank for 50 years and, yeah, they've been making bank on that oil and gas. Israel's one of the richest countries in the world and almost 4% of them are millionaires. The last year that wealth disparity in the region was published was in 2008 and, at that time, Israeli people were making 1000% more on average than the Palestinian people under their control and poverty rates for Palestinians were skyrocketing. Israel also collects tariffs on Palestine's behalf, has trade and economic control over both countries and receives about 99.5% more aid money annually than Palestine.
Palestinians don't face any extinction. The population exploded in the recent decades. Jesus dude, read some info about the matter, instead of embarrassing yourself here with your lack of knowledge.
When you hear America talks about interest surely there’s nothing Israel could offer the west. Greed, resources and hidden gems are somewhere in Gaza for sure

Biden in the 80’s with a viral video: “If Israel didn’t exist, we’d have to invent an Israel to protect our interests.” (more or less said that).
Israel offers a loyal military in the Middle East, and a population that sees themselves as Western rather than Arab and so won’t be swept up in something like the Arab spring, which is something other countries that are friendly with the US like Egypt or Saudi Arabia can’t offer.
This reminds me of the Indian Territory
in the American old west
It was land nobody wanted until gold

Same with Gaza nobody wanted it
until the discovery of its gas reserves
But Israel waged the war to push Palestinians to Egypt then take whole of Gaza and steal all the gas ....

The Gaza Marine field (1 tillion cubic feet) is solely in Gaza's territorial waters. I believe Shell and BP Group backed out from further developing that field until ownership uncertainties are settled. If Israel ultimately annexes Gaza, will that put to rest those ownership concerns? Maybe, but it might not keep protesters from picketing the petrol stations of those producers.
Exactly. Well Said!!! I'm so glad this is now being talked about.
It would be interesting to know the timing of that backout. Would love to see some interoffice memos.....
Gaza is not a country therefore cannot have territorial waters in a legal sense. You're wrong.

Israel's canal project is feeling a bit left out. It's meant to be a billion dollar alternative to the Suez canal. Eh? Eh? Cha-ching. But Gaza is in a really awkward place, so it would be better if Gaza were just part of Israel now, "you know, after they clear all the dead bodies away," to quote Boris Johnson on another matter
Also look up Ben Gurion Canal. Lebanon has a dispute over gas fields in the region as well. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about any of this.

The final words by Rachel Donald were golden. It is very important for us to understand the philosophical basis of things, of how our world works - then there would be no need for great media like Novara Media to comment on all of the situations and events.
