@@EdgeBBQ was only concerned about regulating the oil temp, else it makes perfect sense to.deep fry outdoors, I miss aubergine and courgette "tiganites" because we don't deep fry in house.
@@haydongibbins6738 As long as you have a medium/high heat underneath and catch the oil to temp on the way up I've never had an issue. The oil obv cools as you put stuff in and then reheats. It may be an issue if you were frying something big for more than say 10mins at a time, never tried tbh but could see that as a potential issue.
Great looking wings! Respect for not giving away someone’s recipe, I will buy the book on the back of your video. Great to see you cooking with Cast Iron. Stay Safe 👍🇬🇧
Thanks for the video, I’ve just bought this cookbook myself (making my first batch tonight) but what I’ve noticed is that the recipe quantities for the sauces seem totally excessive for the 1.25kg of wings. I’ve just made a sauce ahead of time with half the quantity of the book recipe and still seems more than enough to cost the wings and have some left over. Have you found the same?
everyone gets recipies from youtube, who get them from books , freinds family , what i think ,buy the book, is jobs worth top mean ,really, a first on youtube
Great video. You give the information efficiently and kept my interest all the way through

And that's how you deep fry over charcoal, learning can be tasty

For those of us that don’t like chicken wings - I wonder how well this would work with tenders?
You don't like chicken wings??? Neither does Claire actually, you're both weirdos. This would 100% work just as well with tenders.
Edge_BBQ not weirdos! We just have better taste 🤣
