That has to be the Best Life, Maddy. Fantastic gravel trails/race, friendly and considerate competitors, delicious food, vast selection of coffees, ice cream galore, beautiful beaches AND amazing fish and chips to finish! Did I miss anything? Who could ask for more? Not me. Are you sure that you want to return to dear old blighty? Thanks for a terrific video, the racing was brilliant and I thought that you rode well.
Not sure about the return to the cold and dark ! But will be catching some more sun again soon :) I definitely will try and return to this race next year though, Aus was gorgeous!
Miss Maddy, Thank you for another wonderful post. Glad that you are getting over being sick and feeling better. Cant taste coffee is pure criminal!!!!! keep up the great work.
Count me as a MDDY NTT LOL. Awesome Maddy great event shaking things down for a new year all good. You did very well in the single track sections! Looked lovely and good vibes, coffee, and food yum. Another great video Maddy and 2024 will be mega for you.
Fab vlog Maddy - you've really captured the vibe of my home town gravel perfectly - keen to try the route myself however that final climb looks utterly brutal!
Hi Maddy; another great video. Looks like you had a great time in Adelaide, looks like some great gravel. Out of curiosity, what is your gearing set up these days? I know it's a bit constrained when you are travelling (boy did I wish I had more gears at Worlds) but curious given your challenges with keeping up on the downs in Adelaide. Could quite be a mass thing as you said but always curious about these things.
Hey Maddy, just wondering how long after you started cycling did you start racing and how did you choose your first race? p.s glad you've recovered from your illness!
Heya! I started racing quite soon into it because I signed up to a 70.3 ironman a few months after I bought a bike. Then I did some crit racing maybe a year after I first got a bike :) I started with local racing and then moved onto bigger races progressing through local team to a domestic team on the road and then onto gravel :)
I definitely "like" and do in fact "subscribe" to your travels and racing. This is not your fault BUT I can't restrain myself--I am so sick of these darn alternative spellings (RADL, SBT, GRVL, and others)! Yes...I am over 40! But still, just me? Peace!
Great to see Rhino smashing it in the Giro kit :-)

I definitely did run out of gears! I reckon a course for 2x. I was running a garbaruk cassette 10-50T with a 40T chain ring !
@@maddynutt thanks Maddy. Appreciate you sharing your set up and perspective on 1x vs. 2x on this course
How do you find out about these events, seems the first i know about them is watching other peoples vlogs, good job on the vlog btw 👍
Actually a lot of the time on Instagram! I follow a lot of races and organisers and that’s how new stuff pops up :)
