Don't forget that 000 wheels place the 0, 00, and logo *_beside each other,_* rather than on opposite sides (double zero wheel), which *_makes the wheel resemble a single zero Roulette wheel!_*
It’s deceptive but u can easily see the zeros on the roulette wheel or the screen that shows previous rolls. I think it’s a nothingburger and fake outrage for the “casual “ gambler
The sphere should maybe invest in a “Viva Las Vegas” type film with historical vintage footage, Rat Pack, Louis Prima, neon signs etc celebrating the city up to modern times. Seasonal would be nice too, a Christmas spectacular, Halloween, thanksgiving etc.
Love that time-lapse Vegas strip video. I've spent many hours watching various home movie style Vegas vacation videos on UA-cam. From early 2000s all the way back to the 40s. Answers all of my "what used to be there?" questions.
I was in Vegas a few months ago and accidentally played a triple zero roulette table. My friend and I are savvy gamblers and we understand what triple zero is and what it means. What happened was we were passing through The Golden Nugget on our way to somewhere else, and we each had a match play we wanted to use before heading to the next place. Since we were in a hurry, we just sat at the closest table, and didn't even notice it was triple zero. We played a few spins when I noticed it was triple zero. We were drinking, and were weren't expecting triple zero in Downtown. We colored up immediately, and one other lady at the table did the same, because she didn't realize it was triple zero.
Casino deception around games should be monitored by the gambling commission. The other thing he pointed out is there is a 1 zero table in the high stakes area that gives you half your money back when the zero hits. That's a decent game.
The problem is that gaming commissions have changed from *_consumer advocates_* acting on behalf of customers, into *_trade associations_* acting on behalf of the casinos.
I think with the upcoming expansion and connection to Cosmo they’ll be covered more that way. Aria also has a food hall as does Park MGM so they have a lot in that area. Snacks could be improved though.
I earned 3800 Rio points in May, then received an offer for 5 comp nights with no resort fee, $50 F&B credit, and $100 in free play. Just got back from the Rio today, and must say their remodeled rooms are fantastic.
@@Milestomemories Why wouldnt they rent out the Sphere to big corperations to host parties in? Do catering IN Chicago they rent out the entire Field Museum
I stayed at Rio over the summer. I really like it. The pool was renovated, and I stayed in a remodeled room with a strip view. It's not the same Rio... The remodel is going well, they have a lot of customers, the casino floor is getting active. I recommend taking advantage of the deals. If they keep prices low and maintain the property.... they have a winner. I don't think you will be dissappointed if you use your free room offers.
I went on a quest to collect chips from every casino and definitely did play some roulette that I didn't realize was triple zero until a few rolls in (I want to say it was NY NY with an apple logo on it?). I then started to notice it nearly everywhere on the strip. wild that happened so fast.
I just stayed at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi for 2 nights. To me, the Beau Rivage is a nicer resort than Bellagio, but very similar in style. Beau Rivage has a buffet that puts Bellagio buffet to shame in my opinion. I ate there for lunch for 22.99 twice. Bellagio Buffet is like 54.99 for brunch, with subpar food and less selection. I just don't understand what has happened to the prices of buffets in Vegas. Caesars is like 87 dollars. For anyone who wants more value for the food offerings, go to Biloxi. The Palace Buffet is 18.99 for lunch and it also blows away the Bellagio buffet in terms of quality and offerings. The coastal seafood restaurants in Biloxi are outstanding for a reasonable price. Everything there has a New Orleans flavor. I have to admit that I enjoy Biloxi more than Las Vegas at this point. Plenty of great casinos, better restaurants, and much cheaper overall.
Las Vegas has become a rip off, i used to go four times a year, the corporate greed has ruined it. I like Biloxi, been three or four times and always came home with more money than i arrived with.
Yeo, the restaurant prices on the strip are out of control. I usually go to the McDonald's on the strip instead of paying the crazy prices. I bought a family size box of chicken at Popeyes in the Luxor a few years ago and it was over $40. I just avoid going to the Strip anymore.
The wild thing about the Sphere is that wasn't the struggles completely predictable. It is very cool, but such a unique venue that it is hard to optimize from a venue and advertisement standpoint.
Yeah but I do think they are sort of getting the hang of it. Certainly slow moving but they’re starting to get more and more. They just need to fill out the movies and non-live stuff.
Yeah people are starting to find out they don’t want to pay $150 to see short globalists movie about carbon footprint when they just spend 1.4 billion. All they had to do was put in a nice National Geographic’s of some kind without the messaging,.
Great show. With there being soo much money in sports viewership-like the pool at the circa..etc-I wonder if there was a way to where the sphere could somehow charge people to watch big sporting events-like every Sunday during football season-sell tickets to watch football. They would make lots of money at the gate, and I imagine concessions would also bring in a ton of money..etc.

I was in EFX with Crawford. I performed at MGM Grand Adventures during the day and EFX at night. There were a few of us that doubled up day and night shows. It didn't last long.
There used to be a great UA-cam site called Las Vegas Vegas. It was done by an excellent photographer, don't know his name. Used his Planet Ho shot as a desktop and his Luxor with snow at night shot as my Facebook profile picture. Shots of Strip neon reflecting off low clouds and fog were super cool. Wish he was still around.
Thanks for the info on the triple zero 000 roulette. I would have never known it is the casino logo on the table. A logo is not a number so it's very misleading.
Shawn, you're 100% on the money. The Sphere needs to cut deals with their live acts to show their concert films in between residencies. For those of us in the lower income bracket, it would be a great value to see U2 or Dead & Co. for say $125 in that venue as opposed to shelling out $400-500 for a ticket. It would sell very well, I'm sure! Mark, nice Criss Angel reference! hehe
When it comes to Rio, I have been getting comp offers from them at least once a week for the past 3 weeks. As a result I am up to 9 comp nights, though only 4 of them are without the resort fee & like Mark's offer, I can only use them during the week. However I have until the end of the year to use the all of the nights & I will likely do this in December when I will be in Vegas to see the Kraken play the Golden Knights & to see family during the holidays.
u would be amazed how many people LOVE triple zero roulette. sometimes those are even busier the regular. and then you have players playing only those 3 zeros, betting $25 or $100 on each zero.
Yeah snacks at Mirage was decent. Not as good as the deli but still good. The one time I tried the one at Bellagio I realized it was an afterthought. I mean that sort of makes sense given the property but still true nonetheless.
It’s worth noting that Sphere’s stock is up about 10% this month and it’s up since the earnings report came out. The company is more than just Sphere, but investors don’t seem too concerned about Sphere’s ability to make money over the long term.
Yeah and a lot of the loss is accounting. That’s why I think they have some momentum but it is a long road to recoup all of the money spent. And very true it is part of the wider company so the Vegas Sphere isn’t the only thing in the equation.
@@Milestomemories yeah, forgot about Disney. We might find out that Princess Liea was actually a boy, Hans Solo was gay, and Chewbacca was nonbinary… Would ruin the whole franchise forever. I saw the original while in HS and remember the impact it had. Would’ve been cool to see it in the Sphere.
Bellagio's buffet for brunch was pretty mid last time I went (though head and shoulders above MGM Grand's...) and they now have that back hallway connection almost directly into the much better Wicked Spoon at Cosmo... I don't think I'll ever do Bellagio's buffet again.
So sometime recently you were talking about Rio sending out offers… got a 4 night offer in masquerade suite last week, just got this… “5 Complimentary Nights With No Resort Fee in a Remodeled Suite” now through September 30th… Must be really wanting business next month…
They should close the Bellagio buffet and make it fast. That buffet was top of the line 20-25 years ago, especially when Mirage Resorts was running the place and we know who ran that place into the ground. The Bellagio buffet had its better days long ago, and they are never coming back, it's sad it even still exists. Wait until the Cosmopolitan buffet gets wiped out, and then it will be turned into a food hall next
Surprisingly, one of the best suites in Las Vegas exists at Rio… I hesitate to mention it because I don’t want it overbooked so I will keep the name to myself
We went to the Rio a few months ago and had a great time! Room was nothing special but still nice. The casino was nice and the craps tables were $10 so we were happy 😊
So sad seeing the volcano get ripped apart like that. It’s like losing an old friend. So grateful for the memories though. I’ll never forget the first time I took an edible and watched, dumbfounded at the incredible spectacle that was the Volcano Show. Then I ate my body weight at their buffet and got a tummy ache. Memories. 🫠
Love the channel!!! … But Mirage coverage makes me sad. First Casino I ever went to when I was 21 and first slot jackpot I ever one. Loved that place. Had class imo and a hidden gem on the strip. Now I feel old!!!
PEOPLE....LOOK at the roulette wheel to see three greens. Las Vegas Sands Corp(Venetian/Palazzo)were the first 3 zero Roulette tables in Vegas, called "Sands Roulette" and the capital "S" is above the 0/OO and that debuted 8+ years ago. Now they have an electronic Roulette table mixed in with the analog tables that has even worse odds than the 3 zero tables .....players beware!
Rick Springfield was singing some hot singles from the early 80s to almost ghe late 80s. But he was also acting in the soap opera in the early 80s "General Hospital" during it's highest viewership ratings during the "Luke and Laura" era!!! I believed he played a doctor Wasn't on the show too long!! He is famous for both!!!
I had a buddy and his wife that went to Vegas when Tommy Tunes was in that EFX show, they asked me for a show recommendation, i told them to go see a Cirque Du Soliel show, instead they went to see EFX(neither one of them had any idea who Tunes was), when they came back home they told me about the show and how bad it sucked, i had a good laugh, then my buddy told me about the Q and A session during the show, my friend said he wanted to stand up and ask "hey Mr. Tunes, where do we go to get our money back" LOL, i laughed for about ten minutes. Had i been there i would have asked that, he doesn't have the guts that i do. probably would have resulted in being removed from the premises but i wouldn't have cared..
Another way that 000 Roulette is misleading: unlike 00 wheels that place 0 and 00 *_on opposite sides,_* 000 Roulette wheels place the 0, 00, and 000 *_beside each other,_* which makes the wheel *_look like a single 0 Roulette wheel!_*
MGM won't do things that don't make them money and apparently the Bellagio Buffet makes them a ton more than a food hall would there....now if MGM wanted to do all of us a favor it would be to make the nasty MGM Grand buffet a food hall. Again, they probably make a ton of $ on that one too.
I get a kick out of your shows. LOL! I think you should try to get Chris Angel to do a cameo on your show. That would be a scream. But seriously folks, it seems like everything that made Vegas great, the free shows on the street like the volcano and the pirate show, cheap and good buffets everywhere, reasonable show ticket prices, reasonable drink prices, reasonable hotel rates is all gone now. Am I the only one who pines for the days when all the escalators on the strip worked all the time? Come on people! I can't be alone! Do I get a "Woo bring back Old VEGAS"??????
I honestly wish Bellagio would close their buffet, it’s terrible now and has been for nearly a decade. I haven’t been impressed with most of the food halls that have opened on the Las Vegas Strip, but anything would be better than Snacks. The lack of affordable dining at Bellagio sucks, hopefully that is remedied with their upcoming construction. In the meantime, Sadelle’s should be open for dinner nightly.
idk the only reason i can think of them doing that for triple roulette is space this looks more ascetically pleasing then trying to cram 3 0's in the same place but idk its the only excuse i can think of. and i never thought about it that way when they do add the forth 0 do you think they will have to change the size of the roulette wheel and the ball i think they will unless they do instead of 4 0's they do 2!------- bellagio symbols to symbolize quad 0 lol
Went downtown to Rio today place is still trash until they finish all the renovations then still might be trash 😂 until they fill all the empty spaces inside. (My opinion) was great 15 years ago hopefully make it great again.
It’s still more than a year away from being done. I do like what they’ve done but there is plenty of the old left around as well which is less than ideal.
How on earth does the sphere bring in that much? At least 90% of the tix were available the day of the show. I have a screenshot of the available seats 2 hours before the start of the show.
I totally disagree with Jacob on calling this the most deceitful, but I agree it is unnecessarily misleading. The way Bellagio is doing it is the primo location corner tables that everyone walks by have the triple 0 with lower minimums usually $25 and to get the 00 wheel you have to play $50, so either way they get you for just a much expected loss, but for bets totaling $50 or above it is huge ripoff at 7.69% house advantage vs. 5.26%. It is a bummer they had this idea, but they should call it what it is, people are still going to play even knowingly because of the lower minimum and when it's crowded every roulette table is going to be packed.
Did you see that the city of Las Vegas accidentally put up with the neon museum is gonna look like on that parking garage they took the video down and reloaded it. They cut it out but I screenshot it it if you want it let me know.
Vital Vegas is probably the best Vegas X account. Too bad they are soooooo ideological. I got blocked commenting on an X post that THEY initiated, respectively taking an opposing viewpoint. What do they not care about one half of their potential customer base. I'm glad u guys do not take a political position either way.
Hear me out, sunday funday NFL watch parties inside the Sphere.. would be amazing.. do a NFL redzone type football experience! Moving games around on the screen.. based on what game action is going on.. would be sick.. have betting, food drinks..
Video games are a 347 billion dollar business. It would be interesting to see a video game competition held at the Sphere . Seeing the volcano coming down was sad #wulffdendad
Geez folks. The Sphere has barely been opened a year. They are making $1 mill a day in revenue that equates to just under $400 mill a year and they haven’t yet started to max their potential in revenue. In less than 6 years they’ll recoup their cost of building while they grow in experience for revenue taking. Any major investment that can break even from initial investment in less than 6 years is a winner To be honest once they find their niche they’ll be profitable within 4 years and investments paid off. Not even sports teams in Vegas can return that money this quickly calypso let alone some casinos like the fountainebleu

I would guess that Bellagio is making bank on their room service menu and because of that they'll never add sub-luxury restaurants.
I think that artwork belongs in the desert-The Sahara
It would be perfect at Burning Man - a permanent art show for the area.
I believed he played a doctor
Wasn't on the show too long!! He is famous for both!!!
Chris is back in the house. 😂
If Bellagio ever did close its Buffet, would the sign move over to the Boneyard?
Agree with you concerning tax incentives as a business incentive.
Enterprises must cut it wo taxpayer footing the bill.
Hi in LV from 24/09 are there any organised weekend runs ..like we have Parkrun in the UK
It's been awful at least since COVID.
It may have started before then even.
It used to be really good.
How much for the Golden Nugget plug?
It would be truly interesting if they discussed this. I see they're sticking ads at the top of the comments section now too.
@@AbyTentyeah. Not ideal for me.
idk the only reason i can think of them doing that for triple roulette is space this looks more ascetically pleasing then trying to cram 3 0's in the same place but idk its the only excuse i can think of. and i never thought about it that way when they do add the forth 0 do you think they will have to change the size of the roulette wheel and the ball i think they will unless they do instead of 4 0's they do 2!------- bellagio symbols to symbolize quad 0 lol
If the sphere cannot break even from that, they have a crappy business plan
How on earth does the sphere bring in that much? At least 90% of the tix were available the day of the show. I have a screenshot of the available seats 2 hours before the start of the show.
More yhan one dealer tried telling me it's not a zero, it's our logo'
F546 that!
The Mirage!!! 😭😭😭😭😭
😔
Giant Tommy Tune tap dancing... still better than a cirque show.
It was quite something and even then felt like from a different era but I’m glad I experienced it.
So sad… goodbye Volcano 🫣😥😥😥
Venetian turns union and Nevada turns a little bit more blue
Yeah, especially with a home team now. I just have minimal experience with this, but the parking for the Sphere seems to be a nightmare.
And there's no sportsbook in there.
Would be really cool. I am sure NFL would charge them an arm and a leg
Video games are a 347 billion dollar business. It would be interesting to see a video game competition held at the Sphere . Seeing the volcano coming down was sad #wulffdendad
Getting The Wizard Super Mario 3 vibes and I like it
Ooo noooo promos!
