Yuju definitely would’ve made it in if not for her lipsyncing that one bit. I feel like it’s kinda dumb bc she was most likely just catching her breath (which idols do all the time btw) so it’s unfortunate. She’ll definitely make it to I-land quickly though.

They already know who they are debuting because concept, themes, styling, visuals and creative direction has been already decided. Lets not disappoint ourselves again. Survivals shows have changed since 2020s they are not the same as before especially if they are made specifically for a company.
Lets just enjoy raw talent and potential growth of these trainees. And probably try to support them when they don't get chosen in the end. Without any maliciousness.

Im so glad to find other people who actually enjoyed the baggy jeans performance 😭 its so weird the way that some people say that they didnt like the baggy jeans performance bc it was so boring (??). It felt like i was getting gaslighted at some point 💀
I made a whole thing with another reactor on the Baggy Jeans performance. It was the only group performance worthy of the mission. As Marley said, Unforgiven was forgettable, big yawn. After Like made me cringe, I felt sorry for Cake (they were literally singing flat! Call it out!) Sweet Venom was cunty, Saebi served! Drama was a bunch of soloists, they had zero group chemistry. That’s my beef with their unit. If they can’t find group chemistry, not sure what the end result will be. I know it’s a business but even a pretension of chemistry would be nice. Can they muster being “nice”?
@@edwinatakasaki2258 I have the same opinion on the drama performance!! Although it was undeniably good, it kinda felt like there was no chemistry between the members. As for the unforgiven opinion, i only really liked the beginning because sarang definitely gave the intro some justice but the explosive energy wasn’t there for the rest of the performance.

Choi Jungeun is the most underrated contestant in iland2. Broh she has everything like she can dance, she sing and i love everything about her. Literally her voice is soooooo beautiful among them

My opinions on the stages as a performer: (Im not using this as an excuse to hate on anyone I’m being honest)
Unforgiven: Was good but not eye catching, I think they lacked a lot of power in the dance department and they had pretty mediocre vocals, but sarang did slay at the start.
After like: In this performance it was so obvious who the leader was just by her facial expressions alone, although the performance wasn’t bad it just seemed like the girlies (except fuko) only cared about how they looked on camera rather than the performance.
Sweet Venom: Sujeong ATE SAUR HARD, and actually they did pretty well, I haven’t got much to say about it.
Cake: I think the song did suit the members in that unit, but it really wasn’t that good Im ngl, the vocals weren’t great but I agree soul has such an idol aura and if she improved her stability she could be in the final lineup.
Baggy jeans: The baggy jeans unit were definitely the most captivating to me, and they all dance amazingly but as one of the judges said (I can’t remember who) they didn’t really understand the concept of baggy jeans and they basically did a girly version of baggy jeans which was still a slay but it would of gave them extra points if they had that sort of nonchalant attitude in their performance.
Drama: THE GIRLIES ATEEE, whoever put that unit together knew what they were doing and they did it, my girl Jeemin in the start AHHH (trust me I’m not biased) also I van defo understand why jongeun was rank 1 the way she sang that hn, I think the spirit of winter entered her body. Jiyoon also has a beautiful voice I think she needs to get more comfortable in front of the camera she looked a little bit tense during the performance.
Overall:
-most of them need to work on vocals and if not that then they need to work on stability
Support Yuju. She deserves it after Evermore put her and Sunwoo on every survival show known to man.

My only hope is that we don't have a repeat of R U Lying, and the judges being actually competent in there critics, evaluations and not simply choosing the girls who have the best "visuals" or the most marketable for the views, or any children (Idk their ages but we need to end the thread of kids debuting as Idols, and yes I'm talking about UNIS (go look it up))..... as for my picks, I have three, Jongeun, because hat's Winter's daughter, Sujung (I've found my main dancer), and Koko, a potential main rapper and because Japanese idols need all the support on survival shows, as history would remind us.... anywhose, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!! 👍👍
