Got to tell you, my friend… As your UA-cam never met before father, flavacol is 2740 mg of sodium in 1 teaspoon… A hotdog is 600 mg of sodium to 900 mg of sodium… and one packet of Ramen is about 1700 mg of sodium. It’s really not reasonable to call any of that healthy, with all due respect. You used about 4 teaspoons or more of the seasoning and you had a double dose of Ramen. Please be aware of risks for cardiac arrest/stroke. People seem to be confused on how to handle a comment when the person is genuinely caring and enjoys Eric’s content.
Yeah, don't do what I do blah, blah, blah. He'll learn the hard way unfortunately.
And he is still alive!!
You sound more like a mother than a friend, you do u, I will do me.
@@danoalex2977 I don’t think I wrote anything to you so yes, do yourself
You will die before he does.
I have watched you for years and I never comment but I have to say this is one of the best videos you have put out.
Thanks Nancy!
Eric. this is the best video I have seen from you in a long time. I watch all your videos no matter what but I would say that a lot of your viewers are going to say this is the best they've seen from you in a while.
Love this. $.88 for dinner and $60 for popcorn. We have common priorities.
😂 👍🏼
Actually, it's $89.82 for all of the supplies. Ask me how I know!
That Ramen might be good I'll have to give it a go. A little tip maybe get some rubber spatulas so you don't mess up the lining of your pots with a metal spoon. That lining is not good for you if it comes off in your food.
Keep on truckin.
Eric, dude, this might be the best video you’ve done in a very long time. We, your friends love the longer format. Peace brother.
Being broke sometimes helps you slow down and appreciate what you have.
When I was kid my parents had $ then dad went thru some kind of crazy midlife crisis. We ended up having nothing but mom and my brothers living in a 2 bedroom Apartment. Fast forward 30 yrs I have $ and investments. But I look back at those times we were struggling and I honestly can say they were some of my best memories.
Agreed
I've always been poor and still always ate good. It's all in the way you do it. But still will not eat that sh!t. Of course though Eric only orders off the kids meal. Pepperoni pizza, plain hamburgers, drumsticks, & CHICKEN NUGGIES.
That's the truth, honestly sometimes it's fun trying to work with what you got.
True. Eric has always been a picky eater but that’s ok. It goes back to how someone was raised as a kid.
This food is not Doug and Stacy approved 😂 keep the rubber on the road 🙌
It is the carborator on that genset, the run jet is cloged the idle jet is OK
It is a very well known issue.
Run Jet 100%BTDT
This is the problem!
Eric I worked 3rd shift for over 20 years and sleeping days a fan was my game saver. I sleep with a fan every night.
P.S To add something different to your channel cooking different things might draw more viewers most love to cook or watch someone cook.
Love the oven Mitt lol
The end with Tara has to show even the haters that this man is not some kind of beast. Say hi to Opie-dope.
Loved the video throughly!! Especially when you captured Tera's loving side...
Any oriental grocery store should have a whole section of rice noodles. If you buy the "angel hair" really thin ones, either pre-shaped into bird nests, or straight like spaghetti, it takes just two minutes with the stove turned off and the boiled water still cooks them. Unlike ramen, there's no salt or oil in them. You get to add boullion, or veg, cheese, meat, whatever you want and make your own ramen--but way healthier.
Since rice noofles can be hard to break, I usually grab two of the birds nests and let them come apart while I'm mixing.
When I was growing up (early teens) we had a popcorn popper that was metal, like a pop that plugged in and was quite “seasoned” but you’d put however much oil in it & once heated, the kernels. MAN was that the best popcorn EVER!!
Once again, another commentor several videos ago said that there is a FIRMWARE UPDATE for the onan generator that fixes the issue. Have a tech come out and update it.
That is true but it needs to be done by a certified Onan tech. Onan will not give out to a normal tech.
But also as said there is an issue with the carb and run jet.
I love Tara and Opie on the Keystone😂
Longmire is a really nice show. I completed this serious a while back ago. It was an awesome serious.
Hey I’m in Arkansas and have property you can stay on. I’ve met you twice on the road. I’m the one in the skoolie that pulled in when you were in Montesano. Have a good trip!
This video was a happy one. Good video!
I love your long videos! Thanks for showing us how you make your Raman Noodles and the secret to making movie theater popcorn.
Spoke with one of the ramen companys regarding sodium content in noodles only without flavor packet. Trade secret, would not tell me !!!
Years ago in Irvine Ca ,Maruchan down the street from where I worked. Ah ,the air always smelled soooo good. Travel safely.🐈⬛🐈
So weird you talking about pets in the end of this video. My daughter’s cat keekers died yesterday afternoon- all my grandkids were hysterical. The oldest granddaughter went to her cat bed and held her and then set her back into her bed and she died immediately. Cat was taken to funeral home to be cremated. She was 15 yrs old. I hope kids calmed down today.
Awe, she's just a shy lil girl. So sweet
Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3oz. - High-Performance Dielectric Grease Used To Protect Terminals, Spark Plugs, Wiring And Other Electrical Connections Against Salt, Dirt, And Corrosion
LOL I just said the same thing about dielectric grease . You beat me to it Sir . LOL
What a good day today is now
There is a bike rally coming up third fourth and fifth of May in Fort Smith, Arkansas. It’s big hope you can make it
Steel horse bike rally
Movie popcorn: corn popper with coconut oil and then the secret ingredient, Flavacol! Typed Flavacol before I saw yours. I use plain coconut oil as there is plenty of flavor in the Flavacol. I use less oil. I don't add the Flavacol until after popping. I know it is weird, but I use a large spoon to eat the popcorn.
A spoooon!? 😱😲 what like a big wooden one🤔🍿
Well, $30 for salt is too expensive for some of us but yea, that looks good. I will try the ramen suggestion on the rare occasion that I eat it cuz it really is so bad for me...very high carbs and there is wax in there! I have to care what I'm eating...type 1 diabetic who's overweight so I'm trying to eat healthy 99% of the time and lose weight. Great video eric...always love your quirkiness and smart aleckiness lol...is that a word??? lol I usually eat popcorn once a week and I put reg butter w/pink salt, ranch & nacho cheese seasoning and...secret ingredient...garlic salt on it...it's SOOOOO goood, but I've also had it w/coconut oil...it's good also, I just have trouble eating reg popcorn because I have dentures, so it HAS to be microwave popcorn...something happens w/the texture when I pour butter on it...kinda sucks, but can't do anything about not having my bottoms on...they never fit right and stay in, even w/the stuff that supposed to keep them in on!
Hey Eric, Tim here in a maroon CRV Honda. Great video by the way… And yeah those wheel covers my RV is a 1977 and they didn’t have those back then they were just a white wheel and because my RV is retro and I have retro plates on it, I don’t use them anymore. They’re too expensive to just discard like that on the highway so keep up the videos Jill my puppy and I will continue watching you and Opie and Tara be safe. Travel safe. Talk soon.
I enjoyed this video 😊
Thankful you got the registration completed.
I can totally see adding some spam to it.
My brother is the same way even in the winter loves his fan, I think it’s the sound of the fan😌
Eric. Before I realized Raman was a soup (seems obvious, I know...) I used to cook the noodles and put spaghetti sauce on the noodles. Cheap and easy spaghetti.
Thank you for sharing your recipes. I really like your free campsite. Love to the kitties!
Enjoy Longmire. It is a great series! We are watching it for the third time. Sheriff Longmire (Robert Taylor) was recently in Tucson for a book signing. Take care.
Oro Valley Rust Bucket
I liked your cooking segment Eric, Nicely done!!! Glad to see I'm not the only one that puts meat (vegies - not you, lol) and Eggs in my ramen too!!! I loved the Terra segment too!!!
Chef Eric, I’m so happy you are expanding your channel content to include more of your talents…..😂🤣😝😜
Eric, I noticed the missing simulator instantly, even grabbed my phone and skipped back 5s to make sure it wasn't just super dirty lmao
I had a similar issue with a different brand generator and found that lowering the charge rate on the inverter charger when I wanted to use the generator solved the issue. Just spitballing. Stay positive!
In younger days could make a meal of popcorn.Unfortunately not these days.Really miss it So good to see love bug Tara..Peace be with you.🥰🐈⬛.
i watch like 40 of your video yesterday on Sunday, Your welcome, Have a good Monday! I Like you eric, you rock!
Found out i missed a few of your old video from back in 2014-2015, end up watching a bunch of them, i really enjoy the old video where you drive with the dash cam view and the good tunes! I was all alone yesterday so you where my virtual friend for the day i guess, Stay safe out there, and keep doing what you do best, Video.
Enjoyed the cooking show. Take care. 🙃🌷
Follower since 2016 from the Philippines 🇵🇭❤️
If you keep having corrosion issues with electrical connections you can always try dielectric grease. Works great on my hook ups.
I never even noticed the dent!😂
The two trees in the lake are Bald Cypress.
They are cool.
Very fun video Eric, loved the cooking tips especially the popcorn which I'm a big popcorn person myself. Drive safe and remember to have a great time!!
Hitting the road tomorrow on a 4 week rv trip. Ramen is our favorite fast food. Gonna try your recipe. Thanks for the tip. glad you're registration nightmare is over. Safe travels!
I’m going to have to try your soup recipe……looks really good…..thanks for sharing and I’m so happy for you that the whole Texas registration process is finally done.
Love the recipe clips.....more please!
Do the kitties get scared with the popcorn popping noise? Love this video!
Fur hugs to the kitties
Safe travels 🐾💙🩷
Lots of great content in this video! Love your kitties! Safe travels!
Eric. Welcome to Arkansas. Generator bogging down sounds like problem in inverter module or rectifier board, depending on what it uses. My welder acted the same and had a bad power rectifier on its ckt board.
Registration of the Kat House is great! Congrats. Great cooking demonstration - going to try your Ramen Recipe.
brilliant video eric loving the longer form content and giving more of a insist into youre life
Slow down and enjoy. Thanks for sharing.
You did not mention di-electric grease , so I will assume you did not have any. I wired a LOT of cars during my career, and swear by it. It battles corrosion without effecting current flow and sensor failure.
It's a miracle grease for sure.
Glad you were able to problem solve the trailer power. The generator bogs down when load is placed, sounds like a choke issue or run jet is partially blocked. Seems like Tera likes the lights out...
Thanks, Eric for the cooking tips gonna try it👍
Eric, so glad you got that RV registered!! 🎉 Now time to just enjoy being a nomad!!!! Lol
This video reminded me of the old days. Just showing us your normal time inside the rv. I love it!!
You can bend the fins on the simulators to make them fit tight. Also I bolted valve extension brackets to my sims and the actually hold the sims on.
18:20 Those lights are just cool and soothing to the eyes❤
WOW best video in awhile. You are so talented, can see how much work went into all the editing of this. Love the kitties 😊
you might wanna consider putting some sort of cage around the stove in order to prevent the kitties from accidentally spilling hot liquids on themselves.
That lake front camping spot looked so pleasant. Glad the registration has been taken care of. Loved Tara on top of the Keystone Box at the start of the video. Safe travels to you and the kitties.
Great video Eric! Thanks.
Hi Eric your Raman looked really good but be ware! Those seasoning packets are supper high in sodium and if you have high Blood Pressure you don’t want to be eating those packets each one is like 1,100. MG of Sodium. Anyways just letting you know. Enjoy your noodles. Oh and Longmire and Yellowstone are the best shows in the world love them
Soup looks great but because of high blood pressure that is a lot of sodium for me 👍but enjoy that popcorn yummy😀
Ive followed you for years, I think your channel is awesome keep it going Eric----thanks so much
I appreciate that!
Quality work and great content. Really nicely done video. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great video !!!!! Loved all you cooked.. sounds good... Glad you got all your tags and stuff done... Love you and kitties.. God bless... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
As far as the dent goes I never noticed it. You might check in to paintless dent removal for that one, maybe even a plumbing plunger Keep the good stuff coming.
I make the same kind of Ramen soup. Only difference is that i add either canned corn or frozen peas. (need some decorations)
What a great, simple video showing some attainable ways to have fun on the road.
Ahh Tara bear!!! She is so much like Max ❤️ LONGMIRE IS AWESOME!! We have watched the entire show twice.
Love your videos and never miss one!
Awesome tutorial on how to make that meal and not to mention the Popcorn!
That location is so nice !! I too have to sleep w/fan since I was kid even if it’s cold or I got the a/c on lol!
s0 glad you got the registration done
The dent never bothered me, the coyote is a great add-on. You could paint the wheels too, and skip the chrome covers. Good ideas on popcorn, that salt looks interesting. I do my Ramin soup (casserole) a little different. Usually add chicken or beef to the mix, plus (I know you won't approve) I add some corn, chopped onion, peppers, and celery. But the egg, an interesting touch. Glad you got the registration handled. Back in 2007, I had the opposite locations, bought the rv in Texas, the dealer held my sales tax funds, and in WA, it took a month to get the funds back to finish licensing the rv in WA. But it all worked out eventually.
People seem to be confused on how to handle a comment when the person is genuinely caring and enjoys Eric’s content.
I lost my buddy 5 years ago February he was 20 about 3 months after that butt fuzzy a big black fuzzy kitty introduced herself to me she makes one heck of a lap kitty and what a conversation she can have with you
at 16:43 mins- my hubby and i were thrilled to see you using the “cat butt” aka “fuzzy butt” as i renamed it, oven mitt! Im glad you seem to like it. 😊
Hey Eric. One thing I recently found is a product called Quick-Steak. It's usually found in the freezer section near the frozen hamburger patties. They have Corned Beef, Sirloin, and Chicken versions. Each pack contains three services of beef or chicken that takes about four minutes in the skillet from frozen hockey puck to done. While my noodles are cooking I can cook up one of those for the protein to add to it. Also, for Ramen, give Momofuku a try. It costs more, but it is SO good! I've also been known to make the ramen, dump most of the water out and dump in a can of chili.
Try some dielectric grease in that solar connection plug from the trailer . Will help waterproof it and doesn't conduct electricity . Should help prevent that corrosion problem also .
Soup looks great. I will have to try it. Thanks.
Awesome video...when you said "Wooh"....I was thinking Nature Boy Ric Flair
Great fun. Zip tie hubs, or paint white, when dirty paint again or black.
E I have enjoyed this more them the bike, bar and race cars. Thank u. 🙏🏻 for u. Safe travels. I love longmire it’s a great show.
Great video. Great food tips. As people mentioned, high in sodium. But makes you thrsty for the busche light. I doubt you eat that every day, and i doubt you eat those high sodium meals in single day. I would only use only one ramen packet. Add frozen veggies with the egg. The popcorn treat like guilty pleasure. Maybe mix with a bowl of the unseasoned microwave popcorn using the silicone popper bowl. That butter sauce is pretty rich. Thanks for sharing.
You should at minimum be using a heavy amount of dielectric grease on the solar connection from the trailer to the RV.
Nothing better than free camping, good find buddy, see ya on the next one
Great video Eric!
Hey, Love your dent cover, Good One....
I camped here years ago, loved it. Had an owl perch right near us.
I use kable ties to secure the weel covers
Glad it's done and you can carry on now without worry! Safe travels!
i love ramen too but the salt in there is too much for me and i put anything i want in there mayo and chicken or even hot dogs. just please watch your salt intake i worry about you! and then the added salt from the popcorn too! i love popcorn and when i eat it usually several bags in a day i can't walk good and everything hurts for days afterwards sometimes a week or more. enjoy not hurting from it and i hope you never do but that's why im saying something. im a live and let live person but i wish i'd heeded warnings myself!
i know how you enjoy being next to water so i hope you have enjoyed your stay there!
Good show. Thanks.
We used to put little green onions, and boiled eggs, in Raman.
Eric. found this plug with O-rings on amazon. Waterproof Anderson 50A connector, Anderson Jumper Cable Plug Connector kit, Battery Quick Connect/Disconnect, 8AWG 30cm Cable, Can Be Used For Car, Truck, RV, Outdoor Cable connection. hope this might help.
Thank you! That's the one I'll order!
