  • I loaded a simple LFO to CV patch to my Patchblocks. The patch has a few different waveshapes and outputs a CV.
The CV can be used to control CV-enabled synths, sequencers and such, but I wanted to use this to control a guitar pedal through its Expression Pedal connection.
I just plugged the Patchblocks into my TC Electronic Flashback X4's expression pedal input, and voila!
Results can be heard and seen on screen. The LFO is controlling the delay time and the saturation in reversed LFO. You can see this from Toneprint Editor loaded on my screen.
The original patch is " Simple CV LFO" by user erstlaub. The left knob controls the rate of the LFO, the right knob controls the depth and the left button allows me to switch the waveshape.

I’m using an Arturia Beat Step Pro for the same purpose, so I can step sequence cv - exp inputs on my Pigtronix Mothership and other pedals.

more people should do that. both the patchblock, and cv modulation is crimanally underrated among guitarists. it'd be nice and interesting if you uploaded more stuff, maybe control an other pedal, or use a different patch

Hey david, since patchblock is discontinued, the patch no longer seems to be available, any chance you still have that "simple CV LFO" patch by erstlaub?
