That green Lysol definitely is a belter of a find
Hi Brett - you won't believe this, but I found another one today! It's exactly the same, but the larger size. Never seen one, then of course I find 2 of them, back to back! Willie 🙂
Very good finds ,way to go and the bottles are very pretty. From shirley from new bren, north carolina u.s.a.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Excellent news Molly! That was the plan! Willie 🙂
You are putting helium in the box, and thats lighter than air! 🤪I love the ink well, stoneware ink and the ginger pot. Love those! Love your videos, Willie. Cheers from PA, USA🍁
That was also my first thought! It isn't correct though...
And thanks - glad you enjoyed seeing the finds and the video too. Willie 🙂
I always enjoy the repair bit at the end as I find it really relaxing to watch, especially with the calming music.
Geweldig mooie vondsten !
Liefs van RINI 🤗🙃🙂
Thank you.
You're very welcome Anna. Willie 🙂
Kathy from Iowa says hello and hopes the rain stays away
Thanks Kathy - was digging again today and got lucky with the weather. Willie :)
That was a beautiful Lysol. I love old bottles, especially the embossed ones. Nice History Bit. And your cream pot restoration was an absolute belter!
I didn't remember until just the point I watched this that Lysol did come in little brown bottles when I was a child and you had to mix the capfuls into the bucket of water. That's a childhood memory that was gone until just then! But, wow, beautiful green bottle!
Your putting memories into the box I think 🤔
Sorry - not the right answer, but a very good one! Willie 🙂
great video .. enjoyed it as always Willie xx
Congratulations on the beautiful stripped ginger jar. 🌻🐕🥰🇺🇸

diamond pattern lysol - ooh! love it!
I know, right?! Stunner! Willie 🙂
@@dirtysecretsofscotland how about a new category - a belter that is also just outright gorgeous regardless of age or rarity.
The ginger jar is so pretty, nice find. Another great cream pot save in your pottery hospital, Dr. Scott.
Ha! Thanks Kathy! Willie 🙂
heh I've had many, many kruschen salts of all ages (they were going for decades). I suspect it says a LOT about the quality of diet of people around here!
Yeah, I think I've seen a few of different ages, come to think of it! Willie 🙂
I'd love to see an update of your collections! Your poison bottles, ginger jars, stoneware, ..etc. when you have time.
We do have something coming soon... Willie 🙂
Cracking finds again Willie!! 😊😊❤️
Thanks Leanne - glad you could join me on another dig! Willie 🙂

Thanks Deborah - was a fun repair. We popped it on Etsy and it sold immediately! See you next week. Willie :)
I love a nice ginger jar. I made quite a few when I made pottery. The Boots Lysol is brilliant!
You’re putting holes in the box 😂 that’s why it gets lighter
Correct. Proceed immediately to the top of the class! 👍🙂
Very good!👏😃
Amazing video Willie love the ginger jar great job on the cream pot
Thanks Dawn! Some lucky finds again! Willie :)
American Belter Boogie 🤔💃🕺
I liked your riddle, Willie. Very clever!
Awesome finds today…my fave was that pretty ginger jar, as well as, the two-piece ink…can’t believe you found both pieces of it!
Superb colour-matching on the repair!
Thanks - I heard the riddle in the car on the radio on the way to the tip and thought you guys would enjoy it. Seems a hit!
I got very lucky with that ink in 2 pieces. It does happen sometimes, but more often it doesn't, unfortunately.
And thanks! Glad you enjoyed seeing the repair too! Willie 🙂
Awesome finds and the repair turned out amazing. Take care and thank you for sharing 🙏👍❤️
Great finds and awesome repair as usual. P.S. you’re putting holes in the box
Thanks! And you're right!! Willie 🙂
Wow, what an amazing haul today! I love the ginger jar and Lysol but my favourite is the deco cut glass ink, it's gorgeous! Fabulous repair as always, great video 😀💗 x

Absolutely. I love finding them. I’ve since found another even nicer example. Coming soon on the channel. 🙂
Memories
Did you mean the riddle? If so, that's not the right answer - it is a very good one though! Willie :)
Yes..the riddle. What is the answer
Holes. 😊
Willie...that's a stinker...lol
😂
Great stuff you're ginger jar dance reminded me about Tim Minchin's song about prejudice chant remember the title but it's very apt.😁
Thanks Richard - I haven't seen that, but I'll google it. Willie 🙂
I say again you need to try a chilli cordial. You will be surprised how good it is 😁
Love watching your videos.
Hi Samantha - you know I kinda want to now! Willie 🙂

Be well. Idaho 🇺🇸
Thanks Shannon, glad you could join us again! You be safe too. Willie 🙂
I love that square chunky ink bottle and how neat you found the insert piece to it. Some really good finds there. Awesome green Lysol bottle, absolute belter! As for your box riddle, the more you put in the box, the lighter it gets. Could it be because it has no bottom? Really good repair job on the cream pot. 👍
Thanks Sally - glad you enjoyed the episode and finds!
Unfortunately not the right answer for the riddle - but it was a very good one! Willie 🙂
Stunning green Lysol bottle and love the ginger jar too! Awesome repair as always! Thanks Willie!
Thanks Debbie! You won't believe this, but I found another green Lysol today at the tip! Never seen one before, then I get 2 back to back! Glad you enjoyed the video and the repair too. A pleasure! Willie :)
@@dirtysecretsofscotland Amazing how often you find things in twos!
That ginger jar and lysol are brilliant! I quite like those veno's bottles too 🤔 Always like seeing your restos too.
Thanks Richard! I dug a swirly green/amber Veno's today. Shame it was cracked... Willie 😔
Always the way!
Great finds today!! Terrific job on the repair!!!🥰🥰🥰
Thanks Kimberley! Glad you enjoyed the episode and the repair. Willie 🙂
29:00 that is a great color match! Beautiful restoration.
I think that Romanesque pictorial might be a depiction of the parable of the Judgment of Solomon. At least that's what it looks like to me.
I have the same taste I absolutely love ginger jars and with you I have never ever seen a green Lysol more less a boots Lysol so yes both are absolute belters.
Thanks Kristi - some lucky finds! Glad you agree! Willie 🙂
Love the green of that fab Lysol, it's an early Christmas decoration, loved watching the repair, magic as always.
It is! Now I'm thinking of putting lights inside it! Glad you enjoyed the repair and dig. Willie :)

That cut glass ink well! Wow!
Another nice hole filled with some great bottles! Thanks for sharing another fun video with interesting history. Cheers!😊
I loved that wee squat ginger jar, looked really tactile. I’m also really impressed with your restoration of the jar. I’ve a massive stoneware Virol with a chunk out the lip, I’ve ordered some Milliput so here’s hoping.❤️💕❤️
Pretty kool supplemental research on Carter's Ink. I watch Tom Askjem digging the northern prairies' outhouses for treasures, & he includes background on many of his finds, Carter's being one of them.---I'm hoping the next hole will uncover more of that painted pot.---That emerald green lysol bottle was indeed stunning!
Thanks Alana - I'll check out Tom's channel - thanks for the heads up! Willie 🙂
@@dirtysecretsofscotland Below the Plains. He once went to the little farm town my Folks grew up in, & I know very well. I once asked my Mom's cousin, who was the regional handy man, how many folks were living there. And at that time (about 15 yrs ago), he replied "88, that includes the cats & dogs!"
Nice finds! Hope you got out before the rain came.
Thanks - I did! A lucky escape! Willie 🙂
Fantastic finds wullie you never fail to entertain, the picture piece with the ladies and baby would make a nice necklace Nicole from Scottish Mudlarks would make great use of that. All the best to you bothand Jack spaniel of course Alex xx
Thanks Alexandrea - glad you enjoyed another adventure! All the best to you too. Jack is currently snoring next to me on the sofa! Willie 🙂
Lovely finds ❤
Who knew a Lysol bottle could be so beautiful? I hate plastic!
I'm amazed you get anything whole...its a tip so when folks throw stuff it's usually broken x
Hi Sue, I know, right?! Some tips most items come out broken, some most comes out whole. Baffles me too! 🙂
As always, awesome finds.
Thanks - it was a pretty lucky dig. Unfortunately they're not always that good. Not all digs make it to UA-cam. I do have some bad digs sometimes. Willie 🙂
My late father used to be a bank manager and he would use a ink cartridges and ink, when signing certain documents
I’m first today. Hurray. Some nice finds today. We have rain today and it’s Halloween 😢. The kids look so forward to free candy. Bummer. Now I’m going to have to eat what’s left.
That’s a real shame… what sort of sweets are we talking here..?! 🤔😂
Kit Kats, Hershey with crispy bits inside. Almond candy bars and Reese’s peanut butter cups. Plus rice crispy treats.
Oh dear, how unfortunate for you... ;)
@@dirtysecretsofscotland It turned out great for Halloween. Crisis adverted. Lol
Great job and superb finds
Well done! I admire you two, your both so gifted ! Happy Halloween!
Or you could be putting sunbeams in the box and it's getting lighter and brighter.
Very good, but not right, I'm afraid! Willie 🙂
Willie have you heard or know of special bovril bottles that have a symbol on the bottom like an anchor or lighthouse something like that? I was watching another digger and he said he always checks the bottoms of all the bovrils because they’re very sought after by collectors.
Oh! No! I didn't know that! I will always check now - thanks for that! Willie 🙂
@@dirtysecretsofscotland I went back and watched it again it is an anchor symbol so that’s what you need to be watching for. He’s in Scotland also. Good luck I hope you find some or at least one but I’m hoping you find more than that so that you can invest more on what you truely enjoy.
Hola!!! Llueve a causa de las danzas que baila😂😅🤗 Saludos 🇪🇦
Love your bloopers and belters! You make stoneware restoration look easy, but it’s a true art form 😊
Hey !... New subscriber here. Great video 🥰
Thanks Deb! Welcome aboard! 😃
Riddle- thoughts
No, but that’s a great answer. 🙂
It's pronounced "Dund-ass" btw👍
Memories
Unfortunately not - but that's a good answer! Willie 🙂
Love the ink pot with the insert. I’ve never seen anything like that, awesome you found both parts. The lysol from Boots is a beautiful find!
