@@elynocente a lot of b'ham is not pretty only parts of it is nice. sorry to burst your bubble. Actually the Mobile area is a lot nicer. You people in Birmingham always thought you were better then the rest of the state but your not. you had a chance to be the nest Atlanta but your politicians were thinking backwards. Now places like Charlotte blows your town away.
Lake Martin is a man made lake with an hydroelectric dam through Alabama Power. Hwy 63 over the Kowliaga bridge leading to Prospect Road and Trillium Dr., is the Phase I - developed in the late eights. Shallow slews from September-March. I've spent my entire life (so it seems) on Lake Martin. I challenge everyone who sees this video to head Martin. If you can't enjoy this scene, you don't have a pulse. Enjoy!
Just came across your channel. We are building a house on Lake Martin. Anxious to get back down South. You mentioned you hadn't gotten any jobs in the Lake Martin area. What kind of work do you do?
I do small residential JUNK REMOVAL. Hauling away furniture, moving boxes, unwanted items. Coming from South Florida, the vast majority of my work was for wealthy areas however here in Alabama I stay busy in middle class areas. I really expected much of my work to be around Lake Martin but that has not been the case. Goes to show you cant judge a book by its cover.

If you've not been yet go to Lake Guntersville... that's where they had the Bassmaster's Tournament (fishing) it's just beautiful..
Beautiful place

I live in Bham. I've always thought Montgonery was so ugly. Alabama is beautiful. Shhhh.
