The man doing the "interview" is David Batra. He is a comedian and he has been in the news in Sweden a lot the last couple of weeks. His wife, Anna Kinberg Batra, was the the county governor of Stockholm since 2023. SVT produced a reality show called First Lady that was to document David's life as a "first lady" on polical assignments aso. Days before the first episode aired, his wife had to step down because of a curruption scandal. (She hired friends to high offece jobs without letting any one else have the oppotunity to apply for the coveted jobs). After months of criticism, she had to step down. As a result the Swedish Broadcasting Commission got inundated with mail, pressing SVT to cancel the upcoming show. But in the end they decided to broadcast it. I haven't seen the show myself, but all of it is a hot mess in the news.
This is basically a satire of people who proclaims that they are unprejudiced or anti-racist, but in fact are some of the most prejudiced people out there without knowing it. A person who actually believes in all the stereotypes and because of that stays clear of them instead of just not believing in them. Yes, this would probably not be aired today, but even at the time it was aired it was pretty far out there. I would even argue that it was more sensitive back then than it is now.
