Thanks for the comment - yes, it can, you would just need to empty or at least drain down the pool and then drill/bore out the hole for the swimjet body. Hope that helps - Andi - PS - that is the old model, I have a new one here - shop.buildahottub.com/product-category/counter-current/
is there anything you can get to put in a pop up pool to create a current, my sister got a pool that's a round 16ft one but its too small to do any real swimming in
looking to build my own swin spa cud i put in too swim jet side by side would it make a differance or is there any need .....sincerly martin cane tralee co kerry IRELAND
Hi Martin, thanks for the comment. I dont beleive that there is any need to put two side by side - not aware of any customers of mine doing this. Once you do that you are getting towards the cost of the cheaper hydraulic sytems so I would suggest that if you are a pro swimmer looking to train in your swim spa. For a fitness swimmer one of these jets is enough. Hope that helps - Andi
Hi Bob, thanks for the comment. I am uncertain both to complaiance and to whether VGB is applicable to this as it is not a bottom or main drain. That said, given the size and the curved nature of the faceplate it would lend itself to the requirements of VGB as it would be very difficult to block - but I cannot say for sure. Sorry I cannot be more helpful - Andi
How many of these you would actually need to create a stream storng and most important wide enough so you can swim? Just one doesn’t look like it will do it.
@@cristianboda1661 To the same pump no, wouldnt get the outcome you are looking for. Two separate jets is possible as too is a single jet on two pumps - hope that helps - Andi
