  • T2 thyroid hormone is a potent thyroid hormone and the only thyroid hormone available over the counter.
For this reason, many thyroid patients have asked me how they can test their T2 level to determine if they would benefit from a T2 supplement.
And while commercially available tests are not available for T2 right now, we do have a way to estimate T2 status in the body with the use of proxy measurements.
These proxy measurements aren't perfect, but they do seem to be fairly accurate based on my experience.
Here are the measurements that I'm talking about:
    1. Resting heart rate.
If T2 is low then your resting heart rate will be low (usually in the 50s to 60s range).
    2. Metabolism.
Feel like your metabolism is sluggish? Low T2 could be to blame.
    3. Cholesterol.
When T2 is low, cholesterol levels will rise.
    4. T3 and T3 levels.
T2 is a byproduct of the metabolism of thyroid hormone. If your T4 and/or T3 levels are low then we can assume that T2 will probably also be low.
    5. Thyroid symptoms.
Still have thyroid symptoms despite taking thyroid medication? This is probably the most obvious sign that you need more thyroid hormone.

I have your Hypothroid Bundle and have been taking it for 2 weeks. I love it and am just starting to feel better! When it comes time for bloodwork, when should I stop these supplements so it doesn’t falsify my lab work. I don’t want my doc taking away my NP
thyroid. It takes the thyroid med plus the supplements to feel better.

hello, i have congenital hypothyroidism (Female, 20 years old). I've been switched to tirosint after taking generic levothyroxine for 20 years. I'm scared it might affect me negatively. Do you think it is likely that it would mess up my metabolism?

Did you ever end up finding a positive remedy? I couldn't handle Cytomel at any amount. I tried it at least twice, separate years, and it made me super sad and manic at the same time. I just ordered some T2 from the doctor's website and I'm hoping for the best❤

What about how taking T2 has been shown to lower tsh. The issue with that is a lot of people are already undermedicated and lower tsh could further this issue. I bought the T2 cream but now I am concerned the Dr. will lower my meds.

I don't even watch these educational type videos. I simply listen on earbuds. Try it, perhaps. It's much easier for me, personally, to retain what I've heard vs what I see on screen. This doc is definitely worth the try as his knowledge and understanding of the thyroid are invaluable for many of us.

My thyroid problems worsen (slows, throat feels tight/swollen, blue toes and fingers) when I try to incorporate more protein in my diet. I’m wondering if this is because my body is using the tyrosine in protein to make rT3? I have had high levels of rT3 in the past and so I take a NDT from standard process (Thytrophin PMG) that has been processed to remove most of the t4. I recently purchased your t4 to t3 conversion support and your t2. Should I stay away from high levels of protein until I have taken several weeks of those first?

    • @nag5253
      @nag5253 2 місяці тому

Can I please ask how do you feel on Thytropin PMG? I tried a different NDT in the past ( with t3 and t4) and it made me feel worse, as I understand my body reacts to it by making more antibodies…

@@nag5253 I feel great in that I have no negative reactions to it, but I still feel that my levels are low.
